M1A2/L1A1 Grenade projection adapter

Ғылым және технология

Before anything else, the L1A1 is designed for a later grenade I used a ww2 american grenade to be a closer match to what you see in the game and movies. Originally it holds the L2A1/L2A2 grenades which are closer to the american M26 grenade (lemon grenade) in shape. Infact the american version seen in this video due to the time period would probably have used the M26 in it while the 4 prong would have used the classic Mk-2. Obviously both fit and would work with no issues. I apologise for rambling on, the speed up function works well, I use it most of the time when watching other videos too.
Lastly I'm busy with work and fixing up my house so as usual videos take a back seat to that, I do have a few interesting ones in the pipes, hopefully I'll get the projects done so I can finish them. As usual the comment section is a good place to ask questions, I answer all questions usually, so if I haven't answered you it may be because youtube is crap and doesn't let me know there is a comment.

I bought a few of these through the Sportsman's Guide catalog in the early 90's when I was a kid. I've noticed they fit on the Yugoslavian SKS with built in grenade launcher on the barrel.

Yeah the Yugo SKS uses the standard NATO launcher size which I think is why it is so popular. Well made SKS.

I’ve wondered how those things worked before, thanks man. Gun Jesus forgotten weapons did a video a few years ago on it but didn’t explain how the spoon released

Yeah he makes good videos on anything that is an actual firearm but his videos on stuff like the PIAT, bazooka, RPG etc tends to miss alot of info I watch the videos for. Lately he has also really gotten away from how the firearms work and went to just to regular field strip type videos. He has gone from a few well detailed videos to many more but less detailed ones.

I have already made a list and put it on their suggestions page. no one seemed to care. They are busy getting their armour fixed so all these things even if they make the game less playable for me doesnt bother most of the player base enough to do something about. I wish I wasn't useless with the Editing software because I'd be willing to help fix the issues if so knew how it works.

Lol I haven't come across any for over 10 years. Last time I saw any was when lllc or what ever that company was called was selling half arsed flash bangs before the RCMP told them to stop. Unfortunately they fall under ITAR so importing them is impossible. I should have bought more when I had the chance but instead I just bought 3. I think at the time I paid 1.25 per. I hate to see the price now.

Individual was selling them. I picked up a few rusty ones from a company afterwards. Those are more to use while the others are more for keeping in collection.

Why didn't they just make a simple tube that attaches to the muzzle. A tube will hold the spoon down until launched without causing damage, so the the launcher can be reused. I would hate to have been a grenadier back then, having to carry a launcher for each grenade. Also I just found your channel and I really enjoy your content. You're answering a lot of thoughts I had but didn't really know how to form it into a question. Please keep uploading, it sucks when you find a awesome channel and they just abandon it. You should monetize your channel, might as well make a little $ for sharing your knowledge. Teachers don't do it for free.

Just putting a tube like that on the end of the barrel still needs a gas check like on the mills bombs when they are launched. If not the gas can go around the grenade, instead of properly launching it. This was just an adapter that allowed you to lob a grenade if more distance was needed, so you didn't carry many with you.
