That is the loader's knee switch. It makes the ammunition door open so he can access the rounds. He's flipping it up so it he doesn't accidentally open the door while the gun is firing as hot powder or sparks can set the ammunition in the turret off.

I want to join to the army next year to be in a tank, u can be gunner or loader, or they told u what position u are going to be? What score I need to get in the ASVAB to get that job? Thank u 🙏🏼

The score that you need on the Asvab is 31 or higher so not that high. And once you join you just don’t go straight to gunner It is possible that can happen depending on your TC but it’s very rare you’ll most likely start out as a loader or a driver of the tank. Then as you rank up and gain more knowledge of the tank it will progress to the next step which is i.e. gunner or tank commander

It will only do damage to the track or if it hits the top it will do damage anywhere else it won't do shit not enless you hit the rear

Its about as difficult as getting any other combat MOS contract. If the recruiter doesn't have the contract you can usually just wait it out until a spot opens up. Army is having personnel shortages currently so its likely you'd get the job if you qualify.
