Even for a Naked, that wobble at speed seems excessive. Seems nearly any time you accelerated past 100 it was struggling. I ride mostly Nakeds, and none of them wobble like that even at 160mph+. Definitely worth looking into, this thing would be insane with a bit more stability.

@@Br0ms I agree, super nakeds need light touch on the bars. My SDR had a disconcerting wobble at high speeds, WP apex pro steering damper solved it.

probably just settings that's fucked up. or could actually be something serious. i mean the bike does have sensors for everything. it got a drift assist electronic so maby that thing is just faulty and doing minor tweeks it don't need

@@rampage3337 no drift assist on the M bikes only the RR 2023+ has that ... and the electronic stability systems should only help not hinder... imo either user error or more likely, since I assume K knows how to ride, something mechanical tires maybe ...

I know everyone else has said it, but the wobbles are insane! My MT07 isn’t even this bad at 120mph haha. Hopefully that gets sorted!

I ride 600cc nakeds that can do 160 mph with no wobbles whatsoever even with a light front end. Definitely get that checked out.

I used to have a 2016 S1000R Premium and a steering damper was a must. Totally changed my confidence in the front.

Ride the superduke in track mode, WC off and you’ll see how torquey that beast is. Every freaking gear it will wheelie 😂 good thing ktm focuses on safety and not allow it to wheelie in normal modes

I buy recentely this bike. At first I felt a little that wobble. I spoke to the mechanic who adjusted the steering damper, making the shaking go away. It's a true superbike and perhaps the best bike I've ever owned. It´s a "conforfable" race machine.

are you planning on getting an exhaust on it? maybe not obnoxious like your double r ones but maybe one that atleast make more noise?

Hopefully you get that stabilization handled b4 allowing someone to rent it. That ish looks scary. 😮

the M1000r is less scetchy to do stoppies on. you know it got electronics for that. it also got electronics to help you drift in corners.

Kay you need to get that bike a better steering dampener. Someone with less skill but more money rents it out… say bye bye to the R Also unpopular opinion I’m sure. I wouldn’t get it tuned and everything else other than maybe a slip on. You’re making a bike that’s just begging the squids around Cali to ride above their skill level and no repercussions for about 300 bucks

The product manager from BMW Dominic confirmed that the ///M1000R does NOT have an m1000rr engine. It has a s1000rr with shift cam technology with the updated head however it’s not a machined head found on the M1000RR unfortunately

BT Moto says the stock damper isn’t enough. They are all wobbling. Your first purchase should be an Ohlins steering damper. PS Just noticed he said he talked to you already.

There’s videos w/ohlins steering damper and it made the steering way too heavy and hard to steer - I know go figure I was surprised to hear that myself- now having said that does anybody know some riders get the wobble and others don’t when they max these bikes out?

You need to up the tire pressure

do you have all the traction etc off?

I can't compare with the power, but my Z900 barely wobbles, if at all. Something seems off here. No shot should this bike be wobbling like that.

either his settings are all wrong or something is wrong with the bike. they are not that unstable normally. it could be anything from his settings being all wrong and to soft to the actual electronics maby not reading right and therefore doing changes that it don't need. i mean the bike does have electronics that help you drift and can read your steering angle and shit so who knows what kind of fuckery that thing can do if it's calibrated wrong.

I am disappointed with the steering dampner. An M needs a more capable dampner for the performance M trim. Sad BMW skimped on this.

Just got my MT-15, not even a month old already crashed it. Caused by a stupid damn driver. Yet doesn't admit it. Just be careful while riding, some people don't even care about motorcycle's existence.
