This sounds like a dystopian city that has been destroyed in a war and now grass and trees are growing on everything and the last humans are building a better home

Sampling rain is always a good way to put more emotion in a track

This album is one that keeps bringing me back.

Vaporwave is like an electronic vacation...it takes you some place else that has never existed and makes you feel at home. This is the music you would hear inside William Gibson's idea of cyberspace...

Gets back to the roots of the genre. Deus Ex/Snatcher/Blade Runner/CP77. Some of the best work since Software, Mark Isham, Jerry Martin of Sim City 3K, 4K fame.

I can't believe artists and albums like this exist. I wonder if we're going to build virtual worlds in the future and be perpetually plugged in like William Gibson's Neuromancer. Hard to say, this is amazing stuff though.

This isn't vaporwave lol - it's music that makes you feel as if it were the future (hence the picture). Vaporwave is a nostalgic remnant of the past that many will not understand as time goes on so we're gradually "Building a better world"

@@Merk-Legend vaporwave has always been about re-imagining lost futures. In that sense, it is no surprise to find new albums that want to go beyond that. It's still a vaporwave album, in the sense that it uses sounds from the past (from futures not realized) to build something new.

Holy cow, this rivals Tangerine Dream in texture, expression, and depth of emotion. Masterful!

It’s a shame Telepath or Corp haven’t released anything new since. I was really hoping this would be an exciting new direction for both artists to break away from the traditional heavily sample based stuff that I adore, into something new that I might like even more! This album is still fantastic where ever those two legends might be along with the rest of their discographies.

Absolutely love this album

I recommend buying it on CD if there are copies left. The bonus track at the end is phenomenal, possibly my favorite song on the album (it’s tied with another song on the album).

The chord at the beginning of Dawn over the Metropolis soothes my soul.

This is good pixel art, when I looked at the thumbnail I thought it was a real or 3D modelled image.

This is It, this is Peak vaporwave. This rivals "A past to Lost eden", and that album is god-tier vaporwave.

@@punpun666 uff, thats a very hot take, but you are right, musically this is unbelivable! I would even say its better then Vangelise's Blade Runner, while you listen you cannot be not in that pale where the music is from, it just teleports you there.

I've been so mesmerised listening to this album since it came out that I forgot to comment on just how incredible this album is... the fact that they were able to essentially modernise and "utopian-ise" the Blade Runner sound is a huge achievement that I don't think I've seen anyone else pull off - I could never get sick of this beauty. Kudos for your amazing collaboration 猫 シ Corp. and t e l e p a t h.

Malcolm O'Toole because it reminds you of the future ahead

This brings me to so many good and calm places. As someone else said, it has that wonderful Vangelis sound quality and I can't wait to hear more albums like this.

This art! Flashback meets Out of This World meets Vaporwave airport bliss!

This is what i call "optimistic Vaporwave", unlike my concept of reactionary or pessimistic Vaporwave, with give the feels of a cool and interasting past, like the 1980s to the 2000s, optimistic Vaporwave gives a feel of a great future, a world better than the so called 90s. This kind of Vaporwave goes to the dephts of your heart and gives a light of the Greater Future, even with bad news every single were. There is a album that is the complete opposite of this one, the Album "world Class"

One of my favourite releases this year honestly. Cat's Mallsoft expertise coupled with Telepath's dreamlike ambience compliment each other perfectly, and put together you get this warm, vibrant utopian world. It's almost like the true successor to Birth of a New Day

Holy shit this is amazing on every level. It really encapsulates those lost/nostalgic/ambient feelings or drifting in space or evoking memories of mega corporate consumerism. A perfect album in every way and a great blend of VW and Ambient music.

Technology creates new art in response. We have excavated and mined the earth away over thousands of years. Perhaps if we finally become fully green we may see a new art reflect that. Until then, as we sit on the fence between the old ways and the new ways, we hover between past and present, between certainty and uncertainty, oscillating constantly between hope and despair. Our children may look back on us with pity. Let us hope for that. Better that than the alternative of their envy.
