I totally recommend you this language, I'm learning Italian for 7 years now and to be honest, I don't know if this song sounds better when you understand the lyrics or not, because for me it's normal to understand them perfectly, without even thinking about it, but I can tell you Italian language is really cool.

I'm Italian but I moved to Canada 15 years ago. If you are referring to the English Lyrics someone posted on KZread the translation is actually very accurate. Unfortunately I'm not sure the song would sound so beautiful (musically speaking) if sung in English ( Italian is a much more musical language) however I actually wrote a letter to the band asking to publish an English version) it is a shame such an incredible poem (meaning of the lyrics) can not be shared in a bigger community. Cheapo to all you (non Italian speakers) who appreciate this art as it is... the emotions travel trough the music... even if the meaning of the words is fading away.

You don't have to understand the words to feel something from this. This song just radiates an unimaginable amount of Marlena. Perfection.

I think this is the most special song for damiano...everytime he sings it the passion is mindblowing..his voice never sounded more beautiful, or profound than in torna a casa

This is more than 2 years before Eurovision. Why were they not in the worldwide charts with this number ? This number is so powerful, and this version really tops it.

We have so many talented musicians and songs that are masterpieces in Italy, in the past and currently, but the world doesn't know them (Mina, Lucio Battisti, Lucio Dalla, Fabrizio De André, Mia Martini, Pino Daniele, Caparezza, Brunori Sas, Battiato, Modugno, De Gregori, Tenco... and many others, even if they don't make rock music)

Because only music with English lyrics has an actual market in the global chart so a lot of world class music in the world is relegated to national markets and has been for decades. I'll be surprised if they keep singing in Italian but I hope so.

At the moment, Maneskin are the best young band around in the world. They sing and play with their soul, the lyrics of their Italian songs are poetic, profound, smart, fresh, thought-provoking, their English songs are full of energy and life, they are gorgeous, veeery young, humble, fun, polite and their glam rock style is a delight for the eyes.... what's not to like about them?
