這段經文-『耶穌對門徒說：「為甚麼膽怯﹖你們還沒有信心麼﹖」』(馬可4:40)，這表明耶穌的期望是門徒應該已經很有信心，但門徒卻失落了；而且門徒在風浪後更疑惑「這到底是誰」。明顯門徒對耶穌過往的教導領受不深。我們會問：「門徒不單每天在耶穌身邊，而且他們領受比別人更多的教導，為何仍會這樣呢？」可能門徒把耶穌的教導停留在知識層面，而非進入生活層面，所以門徒仍對這神蹟充滿疑惑。
相信大家會反思，我們會否好像門徒一樣，對這位救主仍滿心疑惑呢？答案是：會的。信心不是由身分而來，信心不是由時間而來，信心也不是由知識而來。信心是一種從經歷而建立的堅信，我們要在生活上帶著一份單純的信心、勇往直前，並緊隨著基督的教訓，活出基督，這樣才能經歷耶穌話語的真實。
盼望大家一齊努力學習，在神話語中成長。
This passage - "Jesus said to his disciples, "Why are you timid? Have you not had faith yet?" (Mark 4:40), which shows that Jesus' expectation was that the disciples should already have faith, but the disciples were lost. The disciples after the storm, were even more confused, "Who is this?" It was obvious that the disciples did not have a deep understanding of Jesus’ past teachings. We would ask: "The disciples were not only around Jesus every day, but they also received more teachings than others, so why was this still happening?" Maybe the disciples kept Jesus' teachings at the level of knowledge rather than entering into the level of life, so the disciples still had doubts about Jesus' teachings. This miracle is full of doubts.
I believe everyone will reflect on this: Will we be like the disciples, still full of doubts about this Savior? The answer is: yes. Faith does not come from status, confidence does not come from time, and faith does not come from knowledge. Faith is a firm belief built from experience. We must move forward with a simple faith in our lives, follow the teachings of Christ, and live out Christ. Only in this way can we experience the truth of Jesus’ words.
