M.Bison reminds me of Raoh from "Fist of the north star".

The mine combos in SFV were some of the most satisfying and awesome feeling to land. They were very hard to get consistent or rolling because it was tied to V Trigger. I’m glad they leaned more into that gameplay style for this version of him it looks so cool and I’m glad he’s returning to the roster.

Brian F's game play breakdowns are second to none. You have the most detailed video analysis, insightful use-cases for each move, and provide a real sense for how the character will play IRL. Amazing work man!

I like they're doing something with setup/status stuff, same as AKI being able to 'detonate' the poison, etc.

In the lore, blue soul power is the original energy, Bison corrupted his and turned it into purple psycho power, maybe this Bison body is imperfect or not fully broken in.

Bison's Psycho Power has been Blue, Green, Purple, and Violet historically through SF games and art. Capcom are combining them all in SF6. The implication is that he uses the Blue/Green/Violet for lesser attacks, and goes full purple when he wants to blow you up. A nice nod to all his history.

either a nod, or actual lore. in world tour, there's a story around shadaloo trying to find bison, they found a figure that has potential power same as bison, in mexico, riding a horse. and at the beginning of the trailer, he seemed that he doesn't know who he is. I think his power is unstable now, that's why we see greyish blue and purple. we can also see winning round animation he's trying to control his arm. i guess some kind of two conflicting souls reside in him, one his evil bison intent and the host's

I believe you when you say they're the same animations but man they just hit different. I love this new brutalistic Bison.

Watching this i noticed that his backhand special has different animations for p1 and p2 side, awesome attention to detail.

As someone who likes street fighter but isn't an avid player, bison is the first character that really looks intriguing to me after the initial honeymoon phase back at launch. They really reinvented his look and made it imo so much cooler, it gives off dark sider and castlevania vibes.

Finally Bison is in. Been waiting for this. Had no idea he was coming back this soon. People are still digging into Akuma.

Minor note here. Guile-Bison is even in ST. Some people give Guile 5.5 but it is by no means a bad MU. Incidentally this is also true of Boxer-Dictator in ST. Bison being good into Rog and bad into Guile is a SF4/V thing

That drive rush is a war crime - which is fitting for a dictator.

As someone who never played Bison, what's the difference between regular rise into EX stomp compared to EX rise into EX stomp? Does EX rise let you do the followups sooner and that's why EX stomp can hit OTG? Or is this something new and we just don't know yet?

Did they patch Ken’s RH Jinrai loop to make it 1 frame? Now it seems you are either early or it doesn’t come out at all. Or am I crazy? I used to be able to do them in matches 9/10 times. Now I can’t even do 1/10 in practice. Maybe I’m crazy - but Kenners!! I swear last night 6-9 feels different from tonight 6-10 - they made the RH Jinrai loop harder. 😢😢😢

I am not hyped for him, but I love what they have done.

The only thing i don’t like is the hood. I think the design would have worked a lot more if he took the hood down at the start of the match. They gave him long hair for the first time and we don’t even see it.
