Whatever you explained was exactly written in IGNOU textbook but somehow I was unable to comprehend it from the book. You made it quite simple and easy to understand. Thank you 💯

sternberg said his method is different from guilford and torrance because later used psychometric methods to measure creativity while he used confluence method. my question is though his theory is confluence in nature but for empirical prove of his theory he used psychometric test only. please help me in clarifying it

Nice explanation but the IGNOU books contain six distinct resources as Intellectual, Knowledge, Thinking Styles, Personality, Motivation, Environment. There is no mention of Intelligence as they clubbed it with intellectual skills.

Sorry for the delayed reply. It means how we look at things or connection between different things, how they are realated to each other. Higher the intellectual ability means, higher the ability to relate things.

Cognitive psychology: in and out of lab OR Cognitive psychology : mind and brain Can be good enough. All the books will have same theories but their explanations may vary. I would suggest searching for different topics, reading the theory and experiencing it in Indian prespective. Psychology cannot be learned in a closed room and in 2-3 years. It has to be experienced for years. Of course u may get a degree without understanding.. 😊

According to Sternberg Intellectual People covered all three ways of thinking or thinkers. However,Intelligence could be only applied to Practical thinkers (than Why did Sternberg than created an another resources "Thinking Style" ((which is covered under intellectuals)) which you named as intelligence and left it to discuss later.)
