These are two of the nicest grills that are made in America. The big question is why do they have two different lines or models? If lynx is so high end why do they make a budget model? Well I think the reason is, is all these grills that are coming out overseas are so affordable that the Luxury grill companies are just simply being outpaced by china made grills. So to combat that issue they come out with a budget model to compete with these grills. Its not uncommon with the brands either. For example RH Petersen does it with fire magic, and AOG. You also have Al Fresco and Artisian. So this is something that is done often in the BBQ Industry. The Sedona is actually a pretty simple grill, American made, all stainless steel , life time warranty, sort of no thrills. What upgrades do you get with the Professional Series.
- Thicker cooking grates
- Multi level rotisserie placements
- Variable speed rotisserie motor
- Wind guard in the back of the grill
- Warming rack holder
- Hot ignition system
- And most important of all the all trident infrared burners. Which are awesome!
- They are the only burners that go from 300-1200 degrees. So you can slow cook or sear

we are currently trying to get our hands on one. My initial thoughts are, as much as I love a premium grill. I just dont think I would be able to justify a 10k difference when your already spending near 10k

Curious if you would consider doing a temperature check on the burners let us know what the quality of the burners are. Maybe throw a thermometer at grate level, heat at low for 10 minutes and after high for 10 minutes. See what the grate temperatures are at low and high. Personally regretting getting a grill with a standard tube burner. Now I'm curious what the temperature range on these fancy grills with these big burners. Also that bracket at the back, is that for wood chips to smoke while using the rotisserie burner?

That little long bracket under the rear infrared rotisserie burner is for wood chips. You just fill the trough with wood chips which you use in tandem with the rotisserie burner.

I have a 30 inch pro grill with brass burner and flat IR plate. There must be a way to upgrade my grill to the new trident burners. I can make most mods, do you have a kit or a method to do this as I would love to replace my flat IR with a Trident burner? I am in the Denver area.

Great videos there sir ! You need to make a video on parts for these units . So a few years down the line something goes wrong . You need a new knob or a new burner , even some thing like you rotisserie motor just gave in . You should mention what high end grills don't rip you off on parts . Tell us how there customer service is ? Will they answer your e mails ? I have sent 10 e mails to one of these high end manufacturers about parts for my grill and not one reply when my grill cost $7000

That’s a great point. Some are better then others as far as response times. I know most brands right now are super slow at responses due to so much demand. All that being said they should get back to you at that kind of price point. I do always recommend buying from a smaller company as a good fall back for help or support. That’s what we do. Is we can also assist our customers with warranties, etc
