Old Glenn loved that two finger G it works really good on tequila sunrise when you're starting that g strum and you can hammer on to get that classic bass note going on the D string. Take it easy on an electric guitar with a clean tone getting that opening chord going that two finger G that's where it is The money chord here is a That G major 7 if you can't get that two finger G major 7 to ring clear with muted string this whole song falls off the track.

My biggest struggle is barre chords. I can almost land the Bm but my pinky often won’t be in the right spot and it all muffled. Same with F and F#m and any of them. I know where my fingers need to be but then I can’t get them there during a song and I panic and it just doesn’t come out right. I heard to put the pinky and ring finger down first but I’ve been playing 3 years now and it’s just so unnatural now. This is one of my all time favorite songs period. But I’ve been simplifying it and other songs just playing the regular G. Again it’s just 3 years of playing G with my pointer finger and now trying to play a Gmaj7 is so hard for me. But it does sound better than just staying on G the 2 measures. It’s been 3 years and I have gotten better but I feel like I have hit a wall now and I am getting frustrated. My hands are not super big with long fingers so when I play the barre chords again the pinky is a battle to get into place. But I really need to get these barre chords working and stop cheating with easy versions. Thanks for your channel! Ryan
