I remember back in 2018 when I was in matric. My aunt abused me so badly and even chased me out of the house(my parents died when I was 7). I was stressed, from being a top achiever in all subjects in my class my marks dropped drastically until one teacher noticed and spoke to me privately and I told her everything. She helped me, many teachers started helping too. They helped me with food, place to stay, I got to varsity through them and now I'm currently doing my 4th year in Bachelor of education @UKZN. I am very grateful to them, the lord and my ancestors ❤️🥺🙏

I remember when i landed my 1st internship offer after searching and doing interviews for 2 years. I had almost lost all hope. i remember leaving that office park with the great news. This song brings all that emotion back. I could'nt believe it. i remember the MD of that company saying to me, we would like you to join us. I thought i heard him wrong, i asked him to repeat what he had said to me. He said you got the Job.I told him you will not regret this decision. I went on to be the best intern after i had started and got offered a permanent position a year later.

@@asemahemahler3721 , please dont loose hope, just hang in there. keep on knocking on those doors. someone will eventually give you a chance. In my 2 years of searching i probably did over 15 interviews, and 1 company decided to give me a shot. Sometimes you dont even get interviews its just straight rejection emails. its so frustrating i know. Each time i failed i went to the drawing board and figured why i failed. I eventually practiced how to speak better. i remember i had an interview at Dimension Data, this two ladies were laughing at my english accent, it was so hurtful.

@Lwah Ndlunkulu: Thank you very much for sharing your talent with us! What a touching song! It’s as if it’s dedicated to me! I’m beginning to appreciate everything that the Lord and my Ancestors have done for me! Honestly, I used to complain a lot…about this and that! Not after this song! THEY have taken me this far! I mean, I’m still alive…I have a BSc in Human Resource Management, Zimbabwe; MSc in Management Science and Engineering, China; PhD in Management of Complex Systems, USA; Higher Certificate in Project Management, Zimbabwe…Researcher, Teaching Assistant…the list goes on! I ought to thank God and my Ancestors! Ngibonga Ithuba!🙏😥
This marks a turning point in my life, thank you God, thank you to my ancestors for holding your boy down in this concrete jungle called Jozi !!
I don't understand this language but I love this song from Zimbabwe

It's time we start being grateful as Zimbabweans for what we have... 😢🙏🙏We have so much and we have to be grateful for that... Zimbabweans it's gonna be okay but for now asbonge ithuba 🙏🇿🇼💓💓
I hate the fact that I just saw and listened to this heartwarming song, my eyes went blurry and felt silent tears rushing down my cheeks. From being a street at 9 years to graduating with 2020 (Bsc Hydrology and water resources management) and being appointed the youngest water and sanitation admin assistant of the North West Province. "Ngibongi ithuba" nam'. Thank you for giving us a song that takes back to appreciate how far we have gone regardless of the challenges we have experienced.

Here in North west as well at Rusteburg i don't understand a single word but this comment section made me understand the situation so many struggles for real
Ngibonga ithuba..iNkosi ingigcine kwaze kwaba la...asbonge iphimbo elimnandi mfoka Ntuli,Ndlela ka Sompisi
Amagana engoma ajwayelekile, siwezwa njalo nje kodwa amaphimbo enza lamagama ajule. Ingoma yonke yinhle futhi iyavuselela. Nenze kweqa baculi!!!
This makes me realize how blessed I am with the little I have. Am truly grateful, abanye bayasokola balaclava bengadlile. Ngiyabonga Nkosi
