Great video Antoinette.. I've just completed my van build tooooo!!! Building it myself, (I'm like 90% done) I also have a promaster and I'm on the west coast now. By the way, you use DC power on the walls and everywhere if you DONT turn your inverter on. If you turn your interver on then you're using AC power which is like a house. I think you said it the other way around in the video. I wish you much success and I'll keep watching and maybe one day have my own videos!!

Sounds racist to me on a cross the board level. If a white person said the same exact thing for the same exact reason you would say its a racist statement. The only way to truly be equal is to stop assuming/playing the inferior role/position.; a women can slap a man, but a man can't slap a women. That is assuming the inferior role. Understand that. don't strive to be the first Black person on mars, strive to be be the first person on mars period. Stop portraying yourself as a special case and then striving to be considered equal. to equal you have to perform equally

Agreed! Nice to see our people expanding their horizons...I want a tiny house for retirement, myself! Not they super tiny...around 400 sq feet! My some wants to get into investment properties and I told him that starting off with tiny homes (one to start) is a much more affordable route than a traditional home! He is seriously considering!

I think it's because when living on the road you can get groceries as you need them vs storing food for the month. Plus the conventional fridge takes up hella space compared to something like a Dometic 75DZ which is way more versatile and convenient for most van lifers

I am following a guy with a bus and he not only has an apartment sized fridge but also a chest deep freezer. A bigger fridge allows someone to stay off the grid longer. Plus some areas of the US are food deserts. Currently I live in a major city but people are already starting to hoard food and paper products again. It’s ridiculous but here we are.

I have been addicted to this type of living for years now. I think I am subscribed to most of the channels on KZread that feature people doing van life, tiny homes, mobile homes, etc. Just people traveling all around living off grid basically. This is very inspiring. I am hoping to take the plunge someday as well. Congratulations! I love the van!

You are funny, can’t wait to see how it goes when you downsize and hit the road. But you should plan a test run before you leave for good, give yourself a buffer so you have a chance to either leave more things behind or get something you may have forgotten, while you still have access to your things. Zion is rad! What a beautiful van, and you're not skimping on style, totally making it your own. I'm a disabled female and just settled the question of what van so that's a big thing out of the way. As soon as our second lockdown is over and I can test-drive I'm getting the Ram Promaster City. It's smaller but suits me, physically I can't deal with the size of a large Ford Transit, a Sprinter or Ram 2500. It's perfect for me, and now I get to personalize it with pink and gold wallpaper. Seeing your sweet, stylish van made me realize you've got to follow your heart. Wishing you wonderful travels, and I look forward to more videos! Edit: clarified van types. this is the most LUX van i have evr seen, i'm in awe !

That shower is dreamyyy. The only things I'd change is have a sink half the size of yours and have a fixed bed. I think this would add more storage space. Great job!

I hear this is a great option to lower the cost of rent. But I'm just now getting started so I can't attest to that just yet. :- ) You have to weigh your pros and cons.

I absolutely love this van!! The only thing I would personally change for me is to have a fixed lifted bed for back storage!!

I’m so happy for you! I can’t believe you have such a beautiful, CUSTOM built van. Words cannot describe how much I want to pursue van life. For years, I’ve watched video after video of other people living out this dream, my dream. And despite having watched so many videos, I’ve never understood how people afford this lifestyle. I don’t understand how they get started, how they continue to make an income while on the road... some start their own companies, but that’s not something I’d necessarily be interested in doing or probably even good at. If you have any tips on how to become a van lifer, both getting started and sustaining the lifestyle financially, I’d love to hear!

When you get to a new city Google temp staffing agencies for that area. They will send you out to work. That way you will always have money coming in when you're in a new city. Every city has temp staffing agencies.

I love this I wish I was brave enough to do something like this get out on my own and travel. The air fryer would be a must for me use mine almost everyday some days 2 times a day cooks everything no oil needed maybe a little oil spray sometimes. I definitely would opt for a smaller size van just for driving and gas purposes beautifly decorated. I love the shower definitely would need a shower and toilet as well definitely need the largest water tank available to get them showers in daily lol.

Beautiful!!! I'm new here today, second video after you "done ruined them people's grass" 😆. For ice cream, transfer it to smaller cups w lids that fit, or scoop into a zip lock bag you can press flat, then get a scoop or two at a time.
