Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *jklux* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *jklux* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I have two pre-loved*preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *jklux* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.

Hello - thank you for the question! I am actually just now editing my unboxing video, so I have been looking closely at price comparison. Yes - the shops are duty free and an SA at Fendi actually told me that they have the best prices in the Middle East. But to compare, I bought a Gucci summer hat for 663 USD at the airport, online on Farfetch it costs 528 EUR (about 565 USD). I was looking at a small GG Super MIni bag - it was 1,700 USD at the airport and online retail on Farfetch is 1,564 EUR (1,672 USD). A small Fendi First clutch bag is 2,109 EUR on Farfetch (2,255 USD), in Doha it was 3,060 USD... so the price in the EU are better, but it really does depend on the item and the brand.
