Train travel in Thailand is amazing. I have done multiple routes there. Bangkok-Ayuthaya local Ayuthaya-Chiang Mai By overnight AC Chiang Mai- Bangkok overnight AC And the Kanchanaburi train. Everything is wonderful there.
Thailand is well off economically than India. Their roadways and airlines are much more sophisticated than railways Pls don't deride other countries comparing ours'. It is bad manners.

Even I got waken Up in Nizamuddin - Pune Doronoto bg TTE himself. I was to deboard at Vasai Road at 3.30 am. The train arrived 20 minutes early. And I was Woken up at 2.55 am 15 minutes before my alarm 😃. I was amazingly surprised by service. And I didn't used any station alarm service of IRCTC too

Sometimes they work from thier side even when they don’t have the duty. I also woke at 3am at Churu, and saw the Coach attendant is coming to wake me up. But that is the extra duty they are doing, in Thailand it is their regular work

@@TravelwithSoumit24 one thing I dont like when you said that Indian 2AC fare of 640 km is above aw compare to this journey. So my research says that your Indian trains are cheaper than this one. For example : Amritsar to Mathura is 640 km approx (same distance is Bangkok to Surat Thani). average 2AC cost is not more than 1500 (you claimed ₹2400). You can check by yourself.

Hi Just came across your video. I too am from Asansol. Planning yo go to Thailand this month end for a short trip. Wanted to visit phuket but have no time. As per your video it seems we need nearly a day to go and come bk to Bangkok from phuket.

As a thai, i can tell you people here generally don't use train for travelling. They either use car or flight. So its obvious that train stations or even system is not developed. Cuz barely anyone uses it
only solution for lights off is having an EYE MASK

The food you ate is called Krapow Moo Saap ( pork kheema and steamed rice ) and is the staple food of Thai people and my all time favourite food. Its really delicious!

You need to lock the pins of the international charger (Rs 150 wala) to make it work.
The cons you mentioned are not a real issue. For light you can carry an eye mask and for that adapter works with that socket. You were just incapable of figuring it out.

Don’t trust the website Mam, Try writing State Railway of Thailand in google and finding the website for booking. Asiago, 12goasia and other websites give you tickets at a higher price

Bhaisaab you have to relock the button in the universal socket, then it won’t go back in. I use it everywhere across the globe. It works fine.

These trains are far better than India. India being such a large country with huge economy, it's shame to have such a poor service and infra. New Delhi station is horribly filthy and poor, and see the station of small country like Thailand, I feel shameful.

Trains a too slow. Also they are imported coaches. Locomotives are also imported. What we have today is completely ours 🇮🇳. Also agree that our stations are crowded and dirty, ultimately comes to that people have to keep it clean, and Goverment has to maintain it as well
Interior Ek no par woh light wala issue kafi annoying tha sir. Attendent uthane wala kaam ek no tha. meter gauge pe 90 speed kharab nhi tha sir ji
