Very nice. If this was my setup, I'd have both couches placed forward a little more. The rear row will also can get the full surround sound experience. Besides it's far more enveloping having audio move around you

As well as the audio move around you, having the couch positioned away from the rear wall actually helps with the low-end, too. Corners are most prevalent. However, low frequencies (bass) also tend to stack up near the rear walls. Even the best room EQ or going multiple subs couldn't fix what's Unfixable! Even though I'm listening in a small living room, the main priority was to have the couch positioned away from the rear wall for this very reason (click on the red dragon twice the view)

Super clean nd very spacious even with those two small couches still there. Probabaly the best custom home theater ive seen. Not too much and overly done, but simple and enough.

A couch 🛋️ or 2 would be my go-to. Those seats 💺 can block some sounds behind you if your head is behind them.

The audio comes from the receiver which is connected to the projector and I ran speaker wire behind the walls from the speakers to the receiver

I have watched you video probably 100 times now. Great room! Quick question, how far is the first couch from your 140” screen? We are building a house right now, and we are being told to go with 100”, I really want 150”, and with a 14’x13’ room…my head will be 13’ away from the screen. Are you fine with your closest couch to your 140”? And how far is the first couch from the screen?

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for watching, the couch in front is around 12' from the screen at first I had a 150" screen but I ended up going with 140" because it felt too big for my room, if you go with 150" I suggest going with a high quality 4k projector

For me the cost for everything you see in the theater including building the room from scratch was around $12k-$13k but I built everything by myself hiring someone would have costed much more. With the new short throw projectors that have recently come out you don't need a dedicated room you won't have to run speaker wires or HDMI cables behind walls you can basically use any room as long as you can block some of the light coming in to the room.
