Me too, 5 mins 30 seconds of defending her opinions and the over pleading for subscribers was off the charts in this video. I got to the 9 minute mark and couldn't take the long explanations anymore. I hope this doesn't become a norm.

The aesthetics of that video is just on point! Don't worry :) Something else...I think it's really sad that the comments/industry (or what ever) makes you feel like you need a 5 minute introduction explaining yourself. I totally get your point but if you're explaining yourself throughout the video it makes the content less pleasant to watch as it takes away the flow. Maybe something to consider in the future :)

Have you ever seen videos “Anti-Haul”. It’s where the KZreadr goes through new releases items and say what they won’t be buying. (Books, makeup, clothing, any collectibles). You don’t need to worry about offending anyone. A 1 minute intro would suffice. You are fun. I love your videos.

If you have such a hard time being critical of things then you should stick to positive videos. This was hard to watch because you were clearly so uncomfortable.

Loved the video, however I thought you’ll talk about the bags you owned and then sold/gave away or regretted purchasing. Still love the video! Don’t like any of these bags either lol 😂

To be honest, i wouldn’t choose “worst bags” to categorize these bags because, you simply don’t own any of these, so how can you evaluate them? You have to try, use often, and it is not a “try on” in store that provides you an accurate evaluation. In my opinion, of course. I think it would be a better video, if you had pick some of your bags and choose those which are indeed, the “worst for you”, from a personal experience. Because the bags you pick in this video, you have zero experience. Simple as that :)

Lydia, I'm only saying this because I admire your work ethic and business mindset. Please be amongst the influencers that foresee the curve of the world outside of fashion at this moment in time. These pieces may be sitting on your shelf for months or years if the economy crashes. I hope you grow to become a voice of reason and real world community and someone who leads by example to help us rebuild together through and the other side of this pandemic!

If you have NOTHING NICE TO SAY don't bother saying it. You're not forced to watch content you hate. Lydia is an inspiration, like it or not she's a great role model and definition of girl boss. God bless every hater you deserve it.

Love you Lydia! I do think the title is misleading. Suggestion: "Bag Trends I Won't Be Purchasing". In your previous vlogs, you did say you were going to not purchase trends but instead valued/timeless pieces that speak to you. I mistook this video for bags you've purchased and ended up hating. If your friends are that important to you they might truly enjoy those bags and might feel some kind of way when you review them like that. I've come to the conclusion (with little thought bc it seems quite obvious to me) these life style/fashion blogger/KZreadr types must be incredibly secure bc they're easy target for peoples petty criticisms. People will complain about the silliest things. Here's an original thought, if you're not a fan of Lydia's long winded intros fast forward. You're in control & it's an easy fix. If you're not a fan of hauls or wardrobe clear outs. Don't click the video. Again the viewer is in direct control of the content they consume. & for pities sake stop complaining about the amount of clothing & beauty products these people own. These types of comments are spread across the platform as if pointing out the obvious is necessary. Yes yes, it's consumerism on steroids we can see this is an abnormal case with our own eyes. I wonder if these people complaining miss the obvious. New beauty products & clothing pieces are a vital part of their job as an influencer. Absolutely ridiculous to click on a video & attempt to guilt them for their profession.

Just discovered your videos and newly described. I really liked this particularly "Buy the bag, Lydia" haha feels like you are having a conversation with me not talking to a camera. Keep up the great work!

Some people just don't understand the word anti-haul. It is very common in the makeup creators side and i think, it is also a little common here in the luxury world. And at this age of sustainability and being aware of the environment, streamlining our collections and not buying just because its a trend is very apt. Lydia has always expressed her need to streamline and filter her collection so i think this video is very fitting. Each one of us can always take what she's saying with a grain of salt. And her opinions are her opinions. We can all agree to disagree. And at the end of the day, you buy what you love. It is your money. So don't get offended when somebody doesnt like your purchase. Be mature enough to accept her opinion. She knows this is a topic that is a little bit controversial hence the preface. So, let's just all agree to disagree, shall we?

It's an honest video where you show you don't just buy luxury brands for a trend, there is a rational and practical factor involved...like it should when you decide to spend your money in... Hi Lydia, thanks for doing this video, I understand your reasoning for not purchasing these items even though I secretly love the Multi bag from LV. 😫😫 (guilty pleasure) My only feedback is that you cannot please everyone, no matter how much you try, and the bigger you get, the more exposure you'll have to people who disagree with some of the things you say (some would even be outright nasty). I agree with some of the comments that it seems like you were apologising alot which took something away from the video enjoyment itself. I know it's hard to ignore people's negativite comments but I think they come with the growth and exposure you have unfortunately. Just remember that you do get a lot more love than hate which is great. Instead of letting the hate to (maybe) 'dictate' (for lack of a better word) how you do your videos, look at this as a personal growth opportunity on how to effectively deal with negative people, the skill will only serve you well as you get bigger. Also, you mentioned about your friends having these bags and I believe good friends know your heart and would be happy with a disclaimer at the intro and would proceed to enjoy the video and not take it very seriously. I disagree with some of my friends purchases all the time and Vice versa, and we are still friends till today. Be authentic, Lydia. It's ok to speak your mind. If the brands end up not wanting to work with you because of your honesty, you might have lost a business opportunity, but you kept your integrity, which is far more important.

I didn’t agree on a couple of bags you mentioned. However, your money your choice. I really enjoyed listening to your opinion on these bags. I also really appreciate this video and your efforts on being thoughtful and kind when expressing yourself. It really puts me off how such an accomplished woman keeps apologising or yearning to be liked/ approved by others. You need to watch your own videos and ask yourself if you would spend time watching another woman trying to be nice all the time. Love your hair in this video. It looks so much straighter than your other ones. I personally have the lv multi pochette and love it. The strap is comfortable, adjustable and can be used with my other bags. The pouches can be separated and used as slg. I do agree with the Chanel19 bag. It doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

Well I completely disagree in regards to the Chanel 19. I used to shared the same idea of yours before seeing it in person. Went to the store to try it, and felt in love. The goatskin is so lux, soft, super light. I have mine in grey and it is my favorite bag at the moment.
