Why do you think people purchase luxury goods?
@Iquey

1. Status/marketing/hype 2. Hopeful Investment/appreciation of art, and rarity/exclusivity. 3. Money laundering, bribery, and tax cheating/write-offs such as G-wagons classed as lite trucks for business use.

To make them look important or rich when maybe they are not . Most of those people have major issues….. trying to cover it up with expensive stuff or a shopping addiction. It’s sad to me . But that’s what they choose right

It’s an endorphin rush. What do you think about the quiet luxury/stealth wealth trend?

That was possibly one of the absolute best videos I’ve seen on KZread. Absolutely riveting, and fair play to the guy for sticking to his guns. Formidable morals and self belief. ❤️
What a riveting story. That takes a lot of courage and strength to sit down and think of one's life and the reasoning behind why and where we are. His book will certainly be interesting to read. Thank-you for the interview. I like the way no one interrupts and actually LISTEN to the guests. I love this channel. Merci! And have a great day! 🙂
YES!!!!! I yelled in my household, but I am sooooooo proud you stood up and did the right thing for the most important reason...your baby!!! ❤❤❤😢🎉
I’m all for the simple life. I don’t want anyone liking me for anything but me. I outgrew keeping up with the jones syndrome early on.
Wow, what a story! Thank you for sharing!!!😮
What an interesting episode! Very open and honest. Ray is great to listen to. Thank you.
That was an honest judge. Unfortunately, not all are like that. Not everyone is going to get justice. And no, letting go is not always the answer.
Rey's story is captivating and a fine example of how one becomes the alchemist through their experiences.
Without professional guidance, traders may face financial losses, emotional stress, lack of strategy, inadequate research, and discipline issues, among others. Menon Trade guarantee long term stability in profitability thats why I really love his approach

Exactly, although not everyone can master their emotions, in that case leveraging on an experienced trader is the easiest way out. I've been with Menon copy trade since 2019 and I averaged 46k in each of the months since then. It's a better way out of loss for me.

Having monitored my portfolio performance under his service which has made a jaw dropping $375k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.
What a profound story. Thank you for sharing.
I am so sorry Ray had to go through that but I agree with him that sometimes bad things happen for you and not to you. I've seen it happen in my life. I was stalked by the first person I ever had a relationship with, from the time I was in my early 20s until now (am in my 40s). It's made me see the world differently and I am happier with what I have today because of it. When you live every day as if it could be your last, things have more meaning. (Or rather, things themselves have less meaning - if you know what I mean!)
Wow! I applaud him also! May the Lord bless him.
We bought land in Western PA. We found out a guy bought land near us who is planning to build an expensive home across from us. He likes to brag about his money. We don't. We don't want people to be able to guess our value. I don't understand the need to talk like you're rich or present how rich you supposedly are.

I know people like that. Some have gone bankrupt. I just bought marked down out dated stuff at the market today. I think I could actually buy that market in cash.

Oh, I hate living by people like that.
fuckkk that was a good story with such good delivery
Hey guys, please add a content warning in the title or description somewhere for the SA survivors in your audience. This man’s message needs to be heard, but I would have picked a different time to listen to it had I known.
Excellent. Looking forward to his book.

The rare false accusations by women are despicable and damage real SA victims unforgivably. They actually hurt victims and help perpetrators. For money?

They are absolutely rare. In fact, the majority of SAs go unreported entirely (such as this man’s as a young boy). Going through court is a headache, and can be re-traumatizing to victims. He was right to stick to his convictions and not settle.
Even when you are making podcast ad-free, YT is blocking users who use adblocks and I can't watch your show, so sad :(
Here from Rory and Mal. This is a good podcast tho so I can’t een hate. Just here for jokes references. Peace.

Our focus whether as a minimalist, functionalist, or essentialist should be quality goods versus luxury goods.
important to understand
What if we have luxury good to make ourselves feel good instead of the perceived notion of it to please others
Wow!
