Building wealth from nothing involves consistent saving, disciplined spending, and strategic investments. Begin by creating a budget to track expenses and identify areas for savings. Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund. As you build a foundation, start investing in low-cost options like index funds, and focus on continuous learning and improving your skills for better income opportunities.

I was a millionaire. Its not happier up the ladder as many think. Quite lonely when your friends and party goers aren't around for us to show off our lifestyle. Hanging out with people that just talk about money and success can make one feel very lost. I had to give it up to find what this life is really about. Being humble and living within means is enough. Its amazing how having average things makes a person actually cherish it more than super expensive items. Many of these rich people would kill themselves if they lost it all. That's how attached they are to that world. They can't be alone.

I was also a millionaire and believe me it was a tremendous amount better up that ladder for me, i came from nothing worked extremely hard to get there, i still and did then retain my true friends and was never big headed about and never looked down on others, i remembered my roots and stayed in tact, you can live and have that lifestyle and be happy with it. I lost my wealth in the 2008 recession, but remembering my roots and having self belief i knew i could come back and slowly but surely i am. The key is always remember where you came from, be grounded, believe in yourself and be humble. Some people can't do that but i'm blessed that i can.

No doubt Darcy, I had a sailboat that we used on a lake back in the late 80's. It was small (Catalina 27) but it was great for a weekend getaway when I was a teenager and it was big enough to make me realize a boat is always in need of something that is going to put a dent in your wallet. At least with a 27 that something was smaller & not as expensive as a larger boat. I still recall being shocked that a 15hp outboard motor cost more than buying & rebuilding the 7.4 liter engine I put in my Camaro. lol Agreed, it was a lot of fun but I took it over from my dad & when you are 18, even a 27 sucks up every extra $ you can get your hands on.

This was a VERY useful video to me. This makes it clear how vitally important it is to keep my “Why” in front of me, and never let money or status become my driving force or that in which I put my trust. It is clearly an easy rut to fall into, because when a person becomes wealthy, there is an entire sub-culture that exists, but I don’t have to go to locations where such competing takes place. When I have built my assets to a place where I no longer have to work at a job, and continue selling my time for money, and I no longer have to pay attention to the price of items when I go shopping, I will simply choose to be content with that freedom. That’s all I’m really after financially. I’ll just use the extra money to bless those I love and care about.

Yes this is true but wealth or having money doesnt hurt the LORDs heart in itself it's when you love these materials and this money rich life more than His heart and His will... Everyone is so fast to say scripture when they see some super wealthy person... as though God isnt very very rich... yes Hes rich and desires us to have these riches too however God is very disciplined and very wise there is a fine line between being swept away by all those desires of having lots of cash and keeping discipline and wisdom as a direction in your life... The thing that is the hard part having super riches is the pride that comes with it... like these.people were saying a lot of these people rich all think very much about themselves ya know... Anyways it is so easy to say amen but I'd rather say what I believe and what's on my mind in relation to that quote of scripture Anyway peace man

@@DanielLopez-um1ho you have no idea do you? the 3500 billionaires are responsible for at least half of the pollution on our planet because they are the ones who don't want to sacrifice profits to create industries which don't destroy the planet. when an average american spends 1$ it's equal to a billionaire spending 1 million $, that means they can take 100$ and stop the deforestation of the rain forest. imagine how it sounds when they tell me I should change MY habits to save the planet. not even flying across the globe for no reason at all matters in a global context. you think they are irresponsible because they waste ressources? they are irresponsible because they own more ressources than entire countries and completely ignore that responsibility. I couldn't care less about the pollution caused by a private plane but when someone is responsible for millions of people and doesn't care about them or the environment (the profits which billionaires "earn" are generated by at least 100,000 people per billionaire) then that person needs to answer some questions.

I guess if they really showed us what these people can afford and how they spend their money (like buying up entire countries) we would instantly realize what's wrong on our planet

4 hour flight to Moscow to retrieve baby monitor. 4 hour flight back. The initial 4 hour flight to get to yacht when they forgot said monitor. Factor in vehicle travel time of say 3 hours (or helicopter probably). That is a lot of wasted time to any billionaire who's motto is "wasted time is wasted money".

I think there is a song that says "Money can't buy you happiness, but it certainly helps to do whatever you want..." And it's true. Being alone or with fake people on huge boats, jets or in a large mansion can be one of the saddest things in existence. Listen to them speak, they have to invite their staff for the holidays... because there really isn't anyone else to invite... that just sounds sad to me... you have to literally pay people to hang out with you.
