I love that you show Banana Republic. No influencers I follow feature them. And with “old money” and timeless classic pieces trending, one would think Banana Republic and JCrew would be featured more by fashion influencers (but they’re not, at least not the ones I follow). I haven’t been in a Banana Republic in ages, but I always loved their pieces and if more influencers featured them (which saves me time doing the legwork of shopping in store or online), I would purchase more from the brand. So thank you for showing their pieces.

When it comes to stools, go comfort, comfort, comfort and the contrast works wonderfully! I had wood stools before but realized that when I have family get togethers, it's nice for everyone to have a comfortable place to sit especially when we're all just hanging out talking, laughing and catching up.

Jack does have dark undereyes. Not as in someone has given him black eyes. But I have seen this over and over in men. Please make sure Jack gets a cardiac check. Dark undereyes are one of the first signs of a heart attack. And we can not have anything happen to Jack. I am really not meaning to scare anyone. But a checkup and some blood test never hurt anyone. Dark under eyes can be heart, lungs, or symptoms of being sleep deprived or sometimes genetic heredity often helps eliminate that or maybe he needs more than what he's presently taking !! I think the natural nubuck stools are a hit

I love the linen short set with the silky cami!!! I would recommend wearing cognac color shoes and/or belt. I find as I'm 5'4" if I wear light clothing with dark shoes it cuts me off... sort of a heavier look (not in weight but visually) whereas the lighter but some contrast colors elongate and gives the whole look more of a cohesive and elegant look. A black bag is okay as these days mixing shoes/bags are ok for another pop of color. The days of matching shoes and bags are gone - thank goodness! Cheers from Los Angeles! :)

I wish you tried more colors . Black is heavy color for summer and it makes women older then they are after 40. I know that color could be overwhelming but get one fun color top and see if you like it and show us. Thank you for sharing.

Have you ever considered extending those front steps? They seem kind of skimpy especially since you have double doors in front. Also, those Walmart finds are incredible!

Great job with front porch redo/replant. It almost looks balanced now. The plants are dying/ browning might be due to over/under water or some elements lacking in soil( calcium, iron, etc) or too much salt, or wrong soil ph for your plants. You can send for soil analysis. Also your kitchen looks better without that big plant next to the stove.

I’ve been investing in classic pieces from Banana Republic for over a year now and I love knowing I can reach in my closet and pull together an outfit that looks great but is not stuffy. I’m short so I do need to get everything in petite but here’s the tip, size up in petites because it’s a 1/2 inch smaller is the waist measurements then the standard size. I also wear linen constantly and find a lot of beautiful classic linen shirts at TJ maxx.

Love the candle spiritually in Iron container. Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie ever since I think every woman should have one red shoes. Banana Republic are my go to for work ,Walmart dress was pretty saturn one getting that today. Jack did an amazing job modeling he's a natural dinning chair are fabulous,trying to learn how to w curling iron. Omg organizing kitchen made a list keep it coming. The Clothing faves for me are the Walmart Ruffle top dress, the BR Knit top w/buttons down the sides, the full length lined white knit dress, and the BR Linen Short Suit. Like the tan Amazon bar stools, the taller stool looks like it would be difficult to get seated. The front entry area is looking very nice....you might test the soil to see if it has an issue that may require it to be changed out. FYI there has been some strange disease affecting the evergreen trees, a Christmas Noble tree I purchased completely died/dried out within 2-3 weeks even though it had plenty of water at all times, never had such a bad experience with an evergreen Noble tree.
