Lution XM Graphite Powder Lock Lubricant Application on Ultion Locks Demonstration by SheffLOCK

How to use Lution XM Lock Lubricant
A quick video demonstration of how to apply the recommended Lution XM dry graphite powder to your Ultion locks.
This applies to the U Ultion lock and the X Ultion lock. This is a powder which is sprinkled on to either side of the key.
Cut the tip of the bottle to allow the graphite powder to flow out of the nozzle. Aim for the indentations on the key and gently squeeze the bottle.
Work the powder into the key grooves and then slide the key into the keyway of the Ultion Lock and turn several times.

The Brisant Ultion Lution XM dry graphite powder is ideal for use in locks which should not be serviced with wet lubricant. Lution XM helps to ensure the internal mechanism of cyclinders, such as lock pins and springs, continue working smoothly.
Lution XM is grease free, odourless and weather resistant. Lution XM cannot be frozen in cold weather which makes it ideal for car locks, external padlocks and any outside locks prone to extreme cold conditions.

I never had to do this ever on any of my locks. But I have now been suggested to do this because on brand-new Era Fortress lock sticks when I do IN \ Out (Without any turning) with a key. Sometimes come out fine sometimes not

Would this powder work well for ignition keys? and the extra security locks I had fitted to the side of my van?. I normally use PTFE spray

Hi, No there is no need to Take the lock out of the door - the graphite powder can be applied on the key and then inserted into the lock or straight into the lock via the nozzle either side of the lock 👍🏻 Hope that helps. Chris

Can you use this on padlocks, on the ball bearings etc?

It's not really for ball bearing rings where a good quality waterproof grease is best. Graphite powder www.shefflock.co.uk/lution-xm-lock-lubricant.html works best in dry contact conditions
