Luther makes singing EFFORTLESS
Anything of Luther Vandross is FLAWLESS and PERFECT
@LivnNLearnin

I saw an interview with him and Mr. Vandross was quite the perfectionist in multiple areas of his life. The thoughtfulness he put into so many things was crystal clear. Musically he is bar none!! 🎼 🎤 🎶 #GoneTooSoon R🖤🎤P
Jack, it was written by Marvin Gaye, originally song by him and Tammi Terrell.

On every album Luther would do at least one remake of a song. Luther would give these remakes the full treatment (I used to say he “Lutherized” the song. Usually from that point forward the song was his. People usually don’t even remember the earlier version. I loved Luther. Saw him live 3 times!

He didn’t do a remake of this song with Beyoncé, but the song he did remake with her for her Dangerously In Love album is called The Closer I Get To You which was originally written and sung by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack In 1977. The two songs do sound pretty similar, though.

I still get chills whenever I hear this song! A forever classic. Can you imagine being in love like this! We should all have a love like the one portrayed in these lyrics. Luther’s song lyrics & vocals are ALWAYS top notch! *chef’s kiss*.
I give you the flowers the birds and the bees love that line but u should react to the original by the late marvin Gaye and the late tami Terrell if you don't know who tammi Terrell she is best known singing with marvin Gaye she died in March 1970 after removing a tumor from her brain.

Hey, Jack. If you wanna hear a flawless Luther duet, check "I Who Have Nothing" (Luther Vandross & Martha Wash). It's one of the most beautiful duets of all time!
To me, there was nothing close to Luther Vandross's vocal prowess. Tonally unique! Also (and even more striking), he was even better in person. In the 80's, I was absolutely floored when I saw him and DeBarge in person at the Westbury Music Fair in Long Island, NY. When he left this earth, he arguably took the most unique vocal instrument with him. One of the greatest vocalist of any genre that ever lived. Bar None!

Luther is amazing. Check out his duet with Martha Wash 'I Who Have Nothing' it's next level good ❤
Now you gotta do switch: I call your name and debarge: all this love. Oh and deniece williams: free
Oh man!! Thanks Jack for playing my cut!!! This song is everything!!
I love your reaction lol!! A lot of babies made just from that song. That Cheryl Lynn’s Album was incredible. Please listen when you have a chance. 🔥
When they pluck a stringed instrument like a violin or cello, it’s called “pizzicato”. You should check out his cover of I Who Have Nothing, I think with Martha Wash.
You must listen to "Amazing" by Luther; he sang it for his Niece at her Wedding. Also, listen to "Dance With My Father" it was his last recording.
Cheryl and Luther were heavenly together ❤ 😍
This song is Butter!!!
That was a good catch on how the strings changed. The many times that I have listened to this song, I never caught that before. I will hear it from now on.

Marvin Gaye wrote this song for his boo Tammi. Luther came through and made it his own. That’s saying a lot because he’s a feature. This is Cheryl’s cover.
This is a cover of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrells Tamla/Motown duet. From their duet album titled "United" the original song was written and arranged 100% by Marvin Gaye. If it wasn't already mentioned.
Please review his song "So Amazing". Talk about chills and goose bumps! This is it.
React to Luther vandross “take you out”!!!!

Men just don't sing of love like this anymore! They don't show vulnerability! What happened? All I hear now is men talking about how much money they supposedly have, how many guns he has, who he shot and btchs and whrs! Boring! Do they even love anymore?
