The consistency of this guy playing the same riff is mind blowing! Pedal sounds awesome!

I really like the effect at 3.20 - minimal drive, but adds a bit of grit, presence and compression all at once. I like this effect and the tone it produces.

Great demo, thank you. Very good tone, and quite appropriate playing to show it off as I imagine it was intended.

Interesting, your criticism of the 2:1 comp on the clean is actually one of the selling points for me. I always find clean blends sound a little sterile almost, the clean and driven signals don't feel very cohesive. On all the demos of the ground n pound the clean and driven signals mesh together so nicely and just thicken up the sound. Just grabbed their Alma mk1 comp recently and I think this is on the cards at some point! Great review!

I agree 100% however my personal signal chain on my pedalboard, having an optical compressor at the very beginning was my point. With that said, as a stand alone unit or a signal chain with no other compression it’s wonderful! 👍

@@Trailightband Makes total sense, I do run compression in front however I have it so subtle that I don’t think it’ll bother me too much. I think the RAT style drive will work beautifully into my EAE Model FeT though 🤘

Overall too fuzzy for me but the tone on the very last riff (around 4:32) nailed it!

@@pmxevious I think it was designed to merge the two pedals that Justin uses, the Turbo Rat and the bass equalizer. How you achieve the tone, at the end, will depend on all factors involved (the gear used, the way of playing), but that is common sense.
