Just FYI because I noticed a lot of people saying the same thing- whenever you see Lush put Gardenia Extract in the ingredients, it's not for scent, it's for colour. Also, since the bombs now have the flat base, they're actually slightly bigger. They did that to stop them rolling around and falling over in the shops.

Loved watching this video! Took me back to your Lush days 😆 I haven’t been able to subscribe to the Kitchen boxes, but still very much enjoy seeing what’s included in each box. Especially this one since there were so many things to choose from. Sometimes I wonder if Lush really and truly pick the top voted for items, or if they kind of throw in their picks as well. I’d love to see you unbox next month’s box if that’s a video you’d be interested in making. Now that it’ll be available in North America, I’d consider subscribing! Would love to know the final price difference and how well the products are packaged. I ordered one UK Kitchen box when I knew yoga bomb would be included, as it’s my favorite Lush bomb that had been discontinued for a while. I enjoyed the products, but just couldn’t justify the price tag to keep my subscription going. I haven’t been buying Lush these past couple years and I definitely miss it…even though my wallet does not 😂

The shipping issue is very likely local. I order yarn from Hobbii and the American folk ordering are frequently complaining about the condition their orders arrive in, turns out it's the local postal services.

I'm a faithful subscriber, I've been subscribed for a while. The reason why I subscribed was because of the dumpster diving hauls and the thrifting hauls. I wish you would throw some of those in there here and there, not really a lush person.

I was being charged 65-68 every month which I never really noticed until 2 months ago that I just cancelled my sub.

I don't know if I will subscribe the NA kitchen yet, I think I might want to see how everyone likes it first. I also am very sad that we can't order from UK in any capacity anymore ☹️. Their products always seemed superior to me and rarely broken. Ironic your bubble roon was broken, maybe from the heat this time around? I am also waiting for this giant vote box next month lol, should be interesting!

So, I'm not a Lush person and know nothing about it. What makes this a "kitchen" subscription? Lol. I thought it would be stuff you could use in the "kitchen".

lol it would be kinda cool to have lush kitchen items to use in the kitchen. The kitchen is just a reference to lush's 'exclusive' products. Basically things you can't purchase online or in store. (either new products or discontinued products) Years ago they would have 'menus' that came out and it was like fighting for your life to get these exclusive products. I'm talking I used to set my alarm to wake up at 1 in the morning just to order when the menu dropped (it always came from the UK) anyway if you didn't order right when the products were released they sold out within minutes, sometimes seconds. It was kind of a crazy time! Back then Lush was primarily my KZread content so I had to have it to make my videos lol. Now as of a year ago they offered the kitchen as a subscription box instead. There is still what they call a menu and each month those who are subscribed vote on the products they are offering up and then what gets the most votes gets in the box. Sometimes they do really awesome things they put in the box. Like I've gotten a shower gel with my name customized on it, a makeup bag with my name customized on it, etc. I still just really enjoy their products but I don't demo anymore so I don't feel like I have to buy it all. I haven't placed an order or been in a lush shop in years. I just use what I get in the boxes now and I'm pretty content with that. I've tossed around doing demos again, but not gonna lie it was kind of a pain in the butt. Like literally I had big umbrella lights in my bathroom ALL THE TIME. lol It's nice not to have to dodge them anymore or carry them in and out of the bathroom where they sometimes just sat in my bedroom until it was time to film. It's kind of crazy what we do to make content. Who knows one day I might just be like we're doing the dang thing and put up all new demos. I got ring lights now but they are still just as big and bulky as the umbrella ones in my opinion.
