I still have an ORIGINAL Rapala, new in the box, that I discovered in my late uncle's tackle box thirty years ago, that had probably been in there for thirty years or more. All the writing is Finnish and you can clearly see the wraps of foil on it. It's one of my prized possessions.

Thanks 🙏 I never tried the foam, I've learned that you must wait long time after the pour, for the foam blank to degass, otherwise youlyget plenty of bubbles in the clear coat

You were very cute that lure, the golden coating was a super idea, that's the type of lure that I like since it stays afloat, I congratulate you, excellent work and thank you for sharing your secrets and work techniques, master!

Nie wiem czy zauważyłeś, ale sklejam taśma dwustronna obie połówki a dopiero potem wycinam kształt 😉 jeszcze potem szlifuje prostopadłym blokiem, żeby mieć pewność, że wszystko jest równe 🙂

What specific super glue do you use? And is that uv nail polish coating is durable, strong?

Hi, any super glue will do, I'm using cheapest available in my country, is medium viscosity so ok for everything. The UV clear is surprisingly durable, I'm using my nail UV lamp 3* 99sec after I'm hanging the lure in sunny place for a day, the hardness is comparable with epoxy, when it comes to toothy predators, however if you cast to the rock it came off on chunks, opposite to epoxy.

I'm sorry, again no luck here, the one I'm using I have already 6 years (I'm only making small amount lures for personal use) and since then have been discontinued 🫤 Based on other KZreadrs recommendations I would go for True Coat Epoxy, that's what I'm planning to buy when mine will finish 😉

Thank you 🙂 I'm buying this material 51,06 zł | Pick Size / Fiberglass Epoxy Lure Lips, 5pcs, Crankbaits, Lure Making (0.6mm 0.8mm 1mm 1.5mm) a.aliexpress.com/_v38CyK (1mm thickness) having it shipped to my truster CNC machinist to cut the lips to my specifications 😉 also I keep one board for myself to cut some custom lips whenever I need it (like I did in this video )

@@serfish101 I don't thinks so, since I'm using this one I never broke the lip on the stones - which before happened often when twitching for trout in shallow rocky stream or for zander along big boulders - but not any more 🙂 from visual point one could say the disadvantage is lack of transparency, but fish don't mind 😊

For floating baits definitely. Way more bouyancy. Also faster and easier to make the lure body 😉 but when I go for sinking wooden lure, or I would like to carve some gill details etc. my go to is Bass Wood 😃

@@condommen6084 farby pokazuje w każdym filmie: Japońskie Mr. Colour 😉 Lakier UV Best Nails - najtańszy z Allegro. A epoxy mam 5cio letnią, której już nie produkują, ale jak zmienię na nową to dam znać jaką wybrałem 👌

Интересно, но особо бесполезно. Трудозатраты довольно высокие, мне бы такой воблер оторвать было бы жальче чем покупной, хотя не ловлю дешевыми. Но Фишка в том что покупные они стабильного качества, здесь же игра будет всегда отличаться

Качество и работа - это именно то, что мне нужно для данного промысла / вида рыб. Страйк-цена однозначно ниже, чем у воблера Rapala. Конечно, если бы это было на продажу, это было бы дороже 😉 Все ловят то, что им нравится и для чего лучше всего, я использую только свои приманки 😉

Standardowy, mamy taki tani sklep we Wrocławiu, tam kupuję, ale każdy w większych butelkach z Allegro wyjdzie równie tanio, nie ma sensu kupować Kropelka czy oryginalny Super Glue w malutkich tubkach 😉
