Great vid and fish well done and what a lovely quiet place to fish I'm south Devon and would love a quiet tourist free bit of coast at this time of year lol
Bit of advice if you don’t already know , when catching pollock if you get a quick release and their fins are still sticking up , nose dive them into the water like a torpedo and they swim off straight away it gives them a massive kick of energy due to the water hitting their gills
Nice vid, great to see the spinners and lures being used
Well done. Good first video. Love spinning the rocky east coast in Scotland. Keep the vids coming. All the best

Appreciate that, pleased to hear you like them. I do a lot on the east coast of Scotland. St abbs Eyemouth are my go to places on the east. I live in Edinburgh so often fish the west coast too. Isle of Skye is my go to up there and it’s hard to not catch pollack at this time of year 😂if you want specific details fire away 👌

That climb down made me feel dizzy, I won't be doing that considering I'm disabled aswell. Where are you.

I had always thought that you can't however I was out on a charter a few months ago and they were keeping them. we kept a couple and fried them up at the house and they were actually not bad at all. not quite as good as co or pollock but not too dissimular
Looking for good locations to catch pollock in Scotland , any good places on the west of Scotland ?

Yes. Anywhere on the Isle of Skye is where you really want to be. Niest points a classic and it would be a miracle to blank it. You’ve got a good chance all over though. Find some deep water and current lines and you’ll likely get on the fish
where is the location

I only had it out for the amount of time I was filming. hook slipped straight out, quick show to the camera and that was it. out the water for 60s max. Really confused me as I didn't play it till exhaustion. Weird. I can see why you'd think that, id think the same if I saw it. had fish out the water for longer than that one before and they've swam off no problem
