Lunch box southern style collard greens / roadpro 12 volt cooking

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This week we are making a classic southern dish in honor of one of our long time subscribers, SweetbearCoyote.
Southern style collard greens! (improvised)
We've included the steps in how Linda washes & prepares them in an extremely small space. Which she finds very therapeutic. (mostly because she gets to play in water.)
However, there will be a time listed in the video if you would rather skip the cleaning process.
~To clean greens~
▪Add 1-2 Tblsp. Vinegar & 1/2 gallon
of water to large bowl.
▪Add 1/2 gallon of water to a
separate bowl
▪gently scrub greens in vinegar water
then transfer to fresh water & rinse
well.
▪add another 1/2 gallon water to a
third bowl.
▪After removing stems, rinse greens
one final time
▪Drain on paper towels
▪place a few large leaves on a
cutting board & add some smaller
leaves on top.
▪roll "cigar" style & gently slice into
1/4 in. sections.

Aww you are so sweet! You gave me quite a surprise mentioning me on this vid. Thanks so much for the kind shoutout . :) That did not look like an easy feat to do all that prep in the small space you had to work in. I love collard greens have not tried that liquid smoke, going to have to try it. Oh one suggestion: if you put Road Pro 12v cooking in your title you will probably get tons more viewers over time. Like, 'southern style collard greens/Road Pro 12v cooking' . Then people searching for collard greens, road pro or 12v cooking will find you. Just a thought . Love you two and your videos, keep up the great work and you will grow fast . ;)

We are so blessed to have you as a subscriber! The finished product makes the prep more than worth it, and is really only takes about 10 minutes. We put "Roadpro 12 volt...." in the tags, but we like your title idea better!
