I've found 5 people can explain the exact same thing and odds are if you listen closely enough you'll learn something new from each of them. That's why it is great to always remain humble enough to listen to the same thing of something you already mostly know. It's good you are doing that most lose that humbleness, good to see.

Mine would have killed me if I mixed numeric values with litteral expressions. In this case, I would have to have named the source's EMF with a capital E (and counted it negative, because KVL, man...), made all litteral calculations then switch to all numeric values in SI units (no unit symbols in an equation...), then converted the numeric result to an appropriate unit considering the problem at hand ("0.050A, that is, 50mA")

As an EE I can't remember the last time I actually broke out the KCL/KVL. Most of the time I need to combine with parallel or series rules, voltage divider, or it's way too complicated to run on paper and I use LTspice. Hell half of the battle is finding components that actually work across temperature and don't cost too much.

7:34 I think something under-appreciated about KCL is that charges do accumulate. That is initially, the current through series components of different resistance have different currents, since initially, the electric field is uniform throughout a (straight*) wire, and therefore by the other form of Ohm’s Law E =ρJ, where J is current density, it can be shown that with a uniform electric field strength and different resistivities, current is not the same through series components. But KCL works because the difference in currents would allow charges to accumulate at some places to rearrange the electric field strengths so that the current through series components will all be the same, i.e. an “electric” equilibrium is reached. It’s just that this equilibrium is reached so fast that no one cares about it, but it’s false to assume that charges don’t accumulate in wires. (* bent wires also have charges accumulate in corners to keep the electric field strength in the wire constant by the same logic above)
