@@Turtlesism Problem is Soulbound have a big cavalry aspect to them already. But I think they should just get new monstrosities in general in terms of models.

My favorite part of this report was the flavor added to game such as describing the actions in fluff terms and playing out the delusions of the flesh eaters with knightly names.

I just love Luka''s commitment to the Pegasus/lady saves etc comments. Made my day

The paint job on the Lumineth is insane!

I really enjoy watching armies that people are excited to play on the table

My favorite part was the struggling to call the blade lords by the proper name

Luka my man. You gotta be a little more careful with how you play Blisterskin. I play the army myself and it’s an important lesson to learn to not just torpedo your army into a blender. Take the flayers in a 1x9 not 3x3. Deploy out of range of shooting if you can, if not, take turn 1 and buff your flayers with the 5+ FNP, mystic shield, D3 more attacks, and stand near the hero that makes shooting worse with the Blisterskin artifact. Then just send 10 ghouls out to score points. If you can score 5 turn one and not commit anything then you should. 3 flayers die too fast and won’t ever get res’d, and charging everything in turn 1 opens you up for the biggest punch back you ever seen AND a double on an army that saves on 4s and 5s.

I've also found that slapping the Flayed Pennant artefact on a Varghulf and then teleporting them into the right spot with the Blisterskin CA is nice to guarantee a charge when you do want to move in, especially with summoned units on board edges

FEC definitely need a bit of an upgrading in terms of a tome. Lumineth really came out strong with their new one.

That was rough. Wish y'all played more of both of these armies. I don't see them in my group so it's fun to see how they play. Didn't even know Fleasheater Courts could hit hard.

Hitting hard is more or less the only thing they do, and they're not particularly good at it anymore. They're pretty much Death's Walmart Ironjawz or Khorne equivalent. Badly need a new Codex, with the meta in which FEC were an offensive threat having been massively powercrept. They were a threat as far as fast melee armies go a few years ago, but they really didn't get the White Dwarf supplement they needed.

People saying LRL busted based on this yet we saw the main damage dealer with its single ability in feast day being key, charge the only unit in the opponents army that can roar, then opt not to reroll a charge and just all round fail an alpha strike. Like just give the turn away and atleast play for the double… or charge the stone guard out of cow range and pile in to cow then feast day

Too true. He charged right into the middle of the turtle which is stacked with negative hit, and negative rend modifiers and anti-monster shooting (Ballista). The Flayers were all unsupported and easily mopped up after that.

The Unit Champion gets 2 Perfect Strikes, but the basic Bladelords only get 1 each. Should have been 4 total attacks rolled.

Luka I really hope this was just one of those days where you went "I just want to push models across the table, roll dice, and have a laugh win or lose" ...because you kinda threw this one lol. From reading the comments on this and other LRL videos, all I can say is that you all need to stop wasting your time and energy on the people crying about Lumineth (or Aelves in general really) being OP. You will not change their opinion as they do not care what changes were made, they found something that they love to hate and will not be convinced otherwise. As someone who liked and played AoS right from the beginning, I felt much less exhausted the day I decided to stop wasting my time and energy on the haters, and instead just enjoy playing and chatting with people who liked it.

That was pretty brutal

Extremely rough game, but aside from FEC needing a new book you really needed to play a bit more conservatively or run something more like 1x9 flayers and get a couple of those royal terrorgheists in there. Lumineth are good against this sort of army, but they're going to struggle against an army with heavier saves and that can shoot back (EG Stormcast). Also I'm pretty sure you stuffed up the Bladelords a bit, they should only be 1 attack each with perfect strike except the leader, who gets 2. So it should have been 4 perfect strikes and not 8 (I think you rolled?). But I doubt it would have made a lick of difference to the outcome.

Why couldn't you use the feeding frenzy in the first turn...all I heard was moon?

Well he rolled double the actual amount of attacks though. It's meant to be 1 each per Perfect Strike.

I am happy to see some lumineth, just restarting playing this game after 20 years and I picked them. This new battletome was supposed to "fix" them right ? haha...

I don't think Lumineth are bad because they're punishing, Elves are that way in a lot of games, I don't like Lumineth because they go around pretending to be Dwarves and I never see Dwarves being Dwarves. I would like the MOUNTAIN SPIRIT, y'know the Bull thing to be a Dwarf thing and not an Aelf thing. #justicefordwarves

It makes sense in the new lore

I'm a new player getting into the game and making my first army. Before I knew about the new book for Realm-Lords I bought Teclis(the only model I have bought so far). So that being said the list I'm thinking of running is: Teclis Avalenor Stonemage as the general with both command trait and artifact that boost the wound of the stoneguard Stoneguard reinforced once Wardens reinforced once Dawnriders not reinforced And then Emerald Swarm and Burning Skull with the remaining 80 points. The list is going to be the Ymetrica sub-faction. So basically the idea is to boost up the stoneguard with a bunch of buffs and have them hold an objective all game and then use Avalenor, the Wardens, and Dawnriders to hunt down the other objectives. Is this list feasible? I think it could work, but I'm worried about the small unit/model count.

I'm a big fan of Flesh-eaters. It is a paper armor army but that isn't why it lost. It was built and played poorly. It isn't even a fun goofy list. Against Lumineth this game was thrown away. I really hope Flesh-eater get a run back soon but with some dignity.

16 seconds in and I just want to guess how this goes. FEC gets completely destroyed because Age of sigmar forgot Death exists. My first army was FEC 3 years ago, still running the same battletome. Lumineth came out after and already up tp their third tome. Kind of a joke tbh

The FEC are not in a great spot for sure due to not having their 3.0 glow up yet. In saying that they were misplayed in this game, turn one charging across the board with no buffs and hardly any support, pretty much any army would just crumble and die when played like that unless you get extremely lucky with rolls lol.

@@okkytv5684 The winrates are actually no metric to judge a faction's power. The winrate is considering tournament lists only. So it's a metric about how well a few competetive lists perform in comparison to others.

LRL are still busted (no fun to be had when facing them with their cheesy-cheater rules), it doesn’t help that FeC are really bad 😂 Best example of why GW games suck

FEC really aren’t that bad, LRL aren’t that busted. As someone who plays Blisterskin, luka played the list really really really poorly. He lost as soon as he made his turn 1 movement.

LRL were massively debuffed. The only buffs they got were the kangaroo riders and Teclis getting a discount. In just about every other way they were toned down. People are still going to whine because Total Eclipse is still a thing.

Tbf Luka's list is... not very good. Focusing more on getting off the strong FEC buffs on reinforced units of flayers with support from some Varghulfs would have been much better than wasting points and casts on endless spells. He just wanted to casually play some stuff he thinks is cool, which I can respect even if the game is more one sided

While I agree GW games could be better, LRL aren't busted, nor would I ever judge so for a new battletome just based on one single game. Sometimes people play really badly, sometimes, especialllllly in this genre, luck plays a part. So chill lol

@@alfred8936 yea, the 1x9 flayers is infinitely better as you actually have a chance to roll from the courtiers. 3 flayers die too fast and you have a higher chance to over heal with the courtier and lose value.
