Today i'm going unbox, setup and review the Lumary Wi-Fi Music Star Light Projector
Hopefully my video will help you with your buying decision.
Inside the box there is:
The light projector
User Manual
A remote
USB cable
Now let's have a look at the projector.
This projector can be controlled using the buttons on the projector
using the remote,
or using the smart life app on your phone.
You can also pair your phone to the projector using Bluetooth.
By doing this you can use your projector as a Bluetooth speaker to play songs.
You can also attach a usb stick with music to play it on your projector
Now let's Power it on.
First connect the USB cable to the DC port of the projector on one end
and a usb charger on the other end.
Next to the power port you have the ON-OFF-WIFI button.
Setting the button ON will allow you to control the projector using the buttons on the projector itself
or using the remote
Setting the button to Wifi will allow you to control the projector using the smart life app on your phone which
i will show later in the video.
Let's start with the ON button.
now i will pair my phone with the projector using Bluetooth.
So on your phone go to settings
Then Connected devices
tap on "Pair new device"
The device BTK10 will appear under available devices
Tap on it to start pairing.
Then pair.
The projector is now paired with my phone
I can now play songs on my phone and the sound will come from to projector.
Now on the projector you have an infrared receiver.
The 4 buttons around the Infrared receiver are used to control the songs playing on the projector.
So the top and bottom buttons are used to control the volume and change songs.
The button on the left for pause and play.
And the button on the right will allow you to switch between Bluetooth and USB.
The dial with the sun icon is used to adjust the ocean wave brightness.
Now let me show you the buttons on the remote.
The top power button is used to turn on or off the LED
Below it you have the laser power button.
You then have the Red, Green, Blue and white buttons.
The power button at the bottom is used to turn on or off the music.
The mic button will make the light fast flash with an external sound or music.
The 4 buttons around the Mic are used to control the songs similar to the buttons on the projector.
The s+ & s- button Control the ocean wave moving speed.
With the fade 1 button the ocean wave move between R-G-B-W in a single colour mode.
With the Fade 2 button the ocean wave moves in double colour mode.
The button with the sun icon is used to adjust the ocean wave brightness.
Pressing the 1H button will shut off the device automatically after 1 hour
Pressing the 2H button will shut off the device automatically after 2 hours
to cancel the timer press on the button on the bottom left.
I will now set the power button to wifi to control the projector using the smart life app.
So you can turn it off or turn it on.
You can increase
or reduce the brightness.
You can change the colour
You can also set a scene from the available scenes and the light will change automatically.
You can set a timer to turn on or off the projector.
For example i will set a timer to turn off the projector after 2 hours.
You can also set a schedule
For example i will set a set a schedule everyday at 18:00 for the projector to turn on.
To learn how to setup your projector with Smart life app watch the video that will appear on the card above.
This projector can also be controlled using Amazon Alexa
For example to turn it on you can say "Alexa turn on Star Light"
To change the colour you can say "Alexa change star light to red"
To change the brightness just say "Alexa set star light brightness to 10%"
You can also control it using Google home.
For example to change the colour just say "Hey google change star light to Blue"
To increase the brightness just say "Hey Google set star light brightness to 100%"
Overall this is a great Wi-Fi Music Star Light Projector
You can use it for kids bed time or for parties.
It can also be a great addition to your Christmas decorations.
You can easily control it with the remote, the app, Alexa or Google home.

The remote does not work even though there is no damage. I haven't used it for a few months and when I run it to use it later, the remote didn't work. I also changed the battery. Can you help me?

@@liamjones8229 if under the “on” there’s a wi-fi icon, switch it on and off repeatedly until it goes blue, idk if you know now but I hope I can help

when i set the brightness it only changes the laser not the led/wave lights? do you know how to fix it
I have a problem and was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. So when I turn the wave movement on it makes a loud creaky-ish sound. The only way to stop the sound is to turn the movement off but I would like to have the movement on. Does anyone know how to stop this sound?

Hello mine doesn’t have the scene in my app it says rhythm and its not like yours I cannot change it
Anyone know where the reset button is?? I’m trying to reset it on my device and I can’t find the button anywhere
I love the colors and the light is softer then most lamps I've tried so it is actually better for me when I have headaches. Now if only it could stop it drom screaming at me every time it connects and disconnects from bluetooth, that would be lovely. Turns out rest of the house doesn't appreciate getting woken up at 3 A.M because I accidentally pushed it a bit on the bedside table. Could not for the life of me modify the volume on that announcement

can someone help pls when i connected my bluetooth to the projector the music stops halfway and i have to turn it off and back on again
I had it for about 2 years now and suddenly it only shows 1 lazer star, Idk what to do

I use it for a night light and I broke the plug so I just finished having a mental breakdown😍 it’s cheap plastic so you have to be careful to not step on it

So, Tuya Smart and Smart Life Apps discover this device, but get stupid when it comes to setting up the screen that allows you to change colors, etc. I can do it in Alexa and with the remote to some extent.
Which app ???
My cousin gave me her and it won’t turn on and I’m trying to figure out how to turn it on or what the apps name is
I dont think I have as many scene options on my Android phone. Is there a way i can keep it on 1 coolor without the green on too

So you cannot use it without a cable? You cannot charge it?
The ocean wave moving speed isn’t working for me. It’s not moving and I’m pressing s+, I’m also crying out of frustration so if you could tell me how to solve this it’d be highly appreciated

You can't because the fade button is actually a theme to automatically change the colour of the projector.
my ocean wave button doesn't move the led lights show but doesn't move. even with pressing s+ motion button
this does not tell you how to put batteries in it

is there anyone who knows how i can set up the laser without any movements? i have been looking for the right bottom but there are only waves can be frozen? thank you in advance

It doesn't need time to get charge and get full or must be all the time with cable and charger while using it

has anyone had a problem where the ocean wave setting quit working and does anyone know how to fix it? I dropped mine a short 2ft drop and it won’t wave anymore. I’d open it up and rescrew or fix whatever but I gotta know how to get to it

Same. Mine just now stopped doing it, I had to smack it before but now even that wont work. Really disappointing, got it for christmas and its only been used 2 days.

You can turn out the green laser lights with the remote. In WiFi mode, there is no way. I use a coin that I just lay over the opening to seal the light from getting out. It works just fine. Sometimes I want just the colours without the green and that fixes it for the time being.

You don't need anything else. It should recognise it straight away. Have you tried changing the battery?

You can play music from your laptop to the projector using Bluetooth. You can also save songs to a usb stick and use it in the projector.

There is a button that allows you to switch between Bluetooth and USB. Obviously if you are playing songs over Bluetooth you will be selecting the songs from your phone so you will know what is playing.

It's not possible. I found a hack for that, just lay something flat like a coin over the opening from the laser.
