Lukla: Most dangerous airport - Nepal : Tenzing-Hillary Airport
2 days trip to Lukla from Kathmandu, which is 30 minutes flight. Another route is Kathmandu - Manthali airport is 4 hours by bus, then Manthali Airport to Lukla Airport flight is about 15 minutes flight.

Lukkla Airport is one of the most beautiful airports surrounded by breathtaking views, it is a unique place so people can enjoy the majestic mountains surrounding this airport. It is a dangerous and difficult airport for planes to land and take off, but the most sublime airport with an excellent view. Just love the scenery, it is magnificent, majestic, and certainly worth watching it. The mountains are gorgeous, most definitely very beautiful

How can people describe it as a world-dangerous airport if it was so bad, it would have been closed decades ago. Where thousands of wide-world visitors visit every season of the year by air to Lukla. It is not a dangerous airport but a unique airstrip will be a nice way to describe it.

Not inherently dangerous, but adversely affected by weather and requiring pin-point accuracy of approach. High flying skills are essential. Regarding closure, where the hell else would you put it?
