Kuechly, Peppers, Smith are my top 3

Everyone talks about his high IQ (and rightfully so) but this dude played relentless, ruthless and with so much heart. Lucky I got to witness the likes of him and Willis. Enjoy retirement Luke!

cam, steve smith, luke kuechly, and julius peppers might be the coolest mt rushmore for any nfl team and i’m not even a panthers fan

Luke Kuechly is the best Panther, he had so much more football to play, sad to see him leave

It’s a shame that he retired so soon. Both Kuechly and Andrew Luck will each be missed from the game of football

It's such a shame he retired early but he did it for the right reason. You could tell this was a player who still wants to play but understands his love of the game may cost him big going forward. No doubt HOFer. Just recently for it's 100 year anniversary the NFL brought together coached, players, analyst, etc to create it's list of the top 100 players ever. In creating it's top 100 for each position they created a list of 20 players in each position and choose their top 10. Even though he didn't make the top 10 Luke, at 28, was selected in their top 20 linebackers of all time. I think we are going to see a shift in how HOFers are selected moving forward towards more Gale Sayers-esque selections. By that I mean players who may not have 15-20 year careers but we're so individually dominant during the time they played.

Trust me..... luke a younger dude then me.....was a legit kool kid.....met him 1nce & said "this kid a beast & rose garden at the same time.....amazing person in general

Sam Mills was a great lb & panther. Only player with a statue outside their stadium .

Kuechly and peppers were the best my favorite defense players hands down

What's sad is those concussions may have already hurt him but much respect to Luke for putting hisself and loved ones first in this decision

Greatest linebacker ever

Kuechly couldve gone down as one of the best linebackers ever, but he chose to prioritize his health over that, you gotta respect and applaud that

Maybe the best inside LB thus side of Ray Lewis. You can argue he's better if you compare individual stats leaving out superbowl and championships

Luke was that Dude, but we are talking (Ray Lewis) c'mon man. You can make an argument on Patrick Willis and Bobby Wagner being the best of there generation..

I don't get why boxers & football players play over 8 years... Its too much on your body, sorry but to go from 0 income to 1-5 million. Why not realize its great to play sports is a fast man sport. This is why the nba players don't earn their pay. Its no more sweat blood & tears like all the other sports. Even baseball is more difficult
