Luke 2 | The Nativity | The Bible
Heavenly messengers herald the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.
Luke 2:4-18
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

That night there were shepherd staying in the fields nearby, Guarding their flocks of sheep suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared among them and the Redence of the Lord's Glory surrounded them Don't be afraid he said. I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people the Saviour-yes the messiah the Lord-has been born today in bethlehem the City of David As the Angel say that he desperately Despaired and the angels Worship him together and singing oh holy night

I'm thankful for the savior's and his greatest gift he has given to mankind, his atonement. Without it, we wouldn't be able to learn, grow, and progress in our self-development to become like him.
the changes jesus has made to my life are beyond my comprehension but i belong to jesus forever ,thank god and god bless everyone even those who anger me with their evil ways as i have no doubt he can save them .

Suddenly the sky is filled with a choir of angels singing praises to God in harmony praise God to the Highest I love the power and the gospel and love what a Christmas gift that he send a his son to all the people. Glory to God in the highest and peace to people on earth the angels leave and once again Darkness falls upon the hills What a marvellous Christmas

It is so sad that so much of the world has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. The Savior was born, so that we could fulfill our true reasons for coming here to this earth. There are times I just want to immerse myself in the solemnity of these wonderful videos and the spirit that comes with them. There is so much hustle and bustle in our daily lives anymore, and I have dedicated myself to slow down and remember why we are here.

The world would be so different, if all mortals everywhere, could grasp hold of this concept: and make it an important part of their lives and their testimony. I love my Savior. I love his birth, his life, his example, his love, his teachings, his church, and most importantly his atoning sacrifice for all of us. I'm grateful for the hope that he gives to all who will come to him.

Surely people spoke as they gathered water, but they probably spoke of really mind numbing subjects, like the water cooler talks today about football scores.
