In 2013/14 Ronaldo and Suarez both had 31 league goals so both won golden boot. Suarez played in EPL so it’s better. Ronaldo scored 17 goals in UCL and Suarez didn’t play in European competition. So Ronaldo was a better goal scorer because of UCL. 2015/16 Suarez scored 40 in La Liga, Ronaldo scored 35. UCL Ronaldo scored 16 goals, Suarez scored 8 goals. So still, Ronaldo was a better goal scorer.
DEFINITELY my favourite modern day striker. He NEVER panicked around the box. Was never afraid to take the extra touch. Never was shy to win a 50/50 ball. TOTALLY trusted his shot. Had great situational awareness. Was deceptively quick. These are only a few of my observations of his career so far. On to Athletico to conquer. #9.

@@net_lag Suarez decline definitely showed in the 17/18 season after that he wasn't the same,he because a liability a lot of times but moments of brilliance still helped the team,he definitely overstayed though.
The pace, the skills and the finishing: He had it all. He may have lost some of that recently but I will always remember him for being an extremely talented footballer. It was a joy to watch him and his connection with Messi was out of this world. Definitely one of the greatest strikers ever.

No doubt about that i respect lewandowski and benzema but suarez was something else. The only bad with suarez is that after 32 he was not the same thats why now he plays in gremio but in his prime he was the best striker in the world at barcelona and liverpool and his partnership with messi and neymar created the best attacking trio of all time especially with messi

307 goals contributed in 283 games WITHOUT BEING THE FOCAL POINT OF YOUR TEAM (that was lio). The guy is a total beast, by far the best striker we have seen since the brazilian ronaldo. And he gets so much disrespect from our fans and from fifa awards. He is our 3rd scorer all time. He has been crucial in all titles and big matches against bayern, real madrid, juventus, atletico, city etc. And he did it with so much style. Volleys, bicycle kicks, lobs, corner shots, nutmegs and other dribbles, speed, headders everything!! Out of his 198 goals, more than half are stunning and have a high difficulty grade, while most elite strikers score 7/10 tap ins and penalties. Suarez, aguero and benzema are the most underrated forwards of our era.

He was good at Groningen, got great at Ajax and reached awesome at Liverpool. When he got to Barcelona he had become brilliant. What a pleasure to have seen that guy play in Europe. Cool video.

He was never underrated as a player he was always overhated as a person cause of his bites and his handball against ghana and many football fans used to hate him or to call him diver and cheater but as a player he is a legend one of the best strikers ever with no doubt. In barcelona and liverpool he was the best striker in the world and one of the best players and also he carried uruguay so many times alongside cavani and forlan. Legend just legend his combo with messi and neymar was just out of this world
He has been going downhill for the last 2 years, but his numbers have still been world class. He is one of the greatest strikers ever, his numbers and trophy collection speak for themselves. The finishing, assists, work rate, skill and will to win are legendary. Much love to Suarez. YNWA

Suarez has never got the credit, respect and limelight that he has always richly deserved. When you think of out and out pure centre forwards, he is the absolute best of his generation. I get the feeling that he is the type of footballing legend who will be remembered and adored more once he has retired. Some artists are more revered and adored once they're gone than when they're active.

not even lewandowski comes close to pistelero, forget about benzema,! Suarez is the deadliest and greatest CF of 21st century! He deserves respect, for everything he has brought to the club! Although its true, tht in recent years he has been struggling due to knee injury and ageing as well, so the coach has decided to replace him! not the fault of the coach though, but thanks for your appreciation, its pleasure when it comes from a rival fan club and our hero was the last player who scored a hattrick in the biggest game "el classico". we all will miss him at classico and even while watching LaLiga

The best number 9 barca have ever had. When he was at his best with MSN, he was incredible and could destroy any defence. Things sadly changes over time. We real barca fans can only wish him the best in the future. He has been amazing for us. I really hope he gets to play once more at camp nou with fans, so he can get a proper sending off, where his name will one last time be yelled out by all barca fans as a goodbye. He deserves that for all his work and goals. Good luck in atletico Luisito.

At times he can be sluggish but the guy knows how score goals for sure. He's the player who broke the deadlock of leo and cr7 in winning European Golden shoe. The fact that his 198 goles looks less then Leo's monstrous 634 but before leo became Barça's highest goal scorer the record stood at 232 goals by ćesar. Now it looks more. GIVE THE GUY, THE RESPECT HE DESERVES.

It doesn't look like Leo's monstrous 634's because Messi played at barca his entire life, and Suarez only played 1/3rd of that time there.

Suarez, 200 goals in 5 years and 10 month (43 effective months). Messi, 630 in 16 years (130 effective months). It means that Messi played triple more years than Suarez played. Then 200 x 3 = 600 goals would have got Suarez.

because of the physical trainer valverde brought to the club all barca's players lost stamina/fatigue you can clearly see it not to mention that 7 out of 11 had injuries during the first half of that season

best number 9 of the last decade, no question, no doubt, no arguing. complete striker, absolute machine. flawless positioning, unpredictable acceleration, strong physique, comfortable with both feet, unmatched link-up play, very barca-esque playstyle. but what i loved the most about him was/is his ability to score goals with a single touch because of how great he is at running behind defenders, finding openings and faking his body. unstoppable player. i miss him

He is definitely one of the best strikers of all time but he has been declining for a few seasons. And a club can't have a main st who is not at his peak. So the club should give him a proper farewell and sell him with dignity.

@@soif_ti Frankly I find you hard on him. Today suarez is still a striker capable of scoring 30 goals per season. He still has a sense of goal that very few forwards have in Europe. And then Benzema is also in his thirties, yet he is in the shape of his life. Limit Koeman should have asked him to rebuild an athletic physique and to work a lot while keeping him on the bench.

@@FM-jj4jd okay, i love suarez and have huge respect for evrythings hes given. But its time for him to go. Hes lost his speed, mobility, dribbling.....his decline has been pretty shocking to be honest. Yes he still scores a lot of goals but he misses SO many chances every game, and the quick counters or plays breaks down instantly when the ball gets to him. Furthermore he can't create for himself like he used to, and relies on messi to provide him with chances. In all honesty barca play a lot more terrible when suarez is on the pitch these days, so its time to leave now as a legend, rather than be seen as a villain sucking the club dry.
