Exceptionally well explained. I have seen these techniques before but feel I understand how to use them better. And the video visuals were both instructive and beautiful. What a well made video - thank you

Really useful. I’ve got the Micro Trail Race and I love them. Tho I have to get used to them as Luis Alberto says.

I prefer to use the Vertical K poles, very light and extremely rigid! The steeper the path the more advantageous is to use poles, no doubts about that.

Gracias Hermann

What size at which height is he using? Would you think there are any benefits of sizing up if you are stuck in between two sizes, if you come from a skimo-backgorund?

I cannot recommend these. Any poles like these with the shark frame strap are not worth the hassle. It tore in less than a year training for ultras and isn't warrant covered. So that's another 50 euro/USD to replace. Never had such issues with other brands like BD. When the pole failed (pole segments stuck after a while of not being used), BD just replaced them for me. Leki poles without this shark mesh thing may be ok, but not these. Plus, weight is negligibly different vs BD carbon z poles. There may also be other companies with better construction or better warranties that I don't know about.
