Oh God, so much nostalgia... absolutely loved this game

Those were the days.... Crazy story and I almost cried when Selan left and came back again. One of the best RPG's on SNES. None of the RPG's these days can be compared with this... Especially the music!

One of the most underrated games. Happy 20th you beast!

It's not really underrated considering how expensive it is to buy a cartridge. It's just not well known because it's over 20 years old.

Lufia 2 was the perfect combination of epic confrontations, bizarre strategies, and absurd levels of Engrish.

the bgm of this game WAS TOO AWESOME FOR ME TOO HANDLE

Man, the whole ending made me cry when I was younger. Even as a grownup, I still get misty eye recalling the story and the ending.

Oh my childhood memories :') the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever listened.

I love this game. it's my fav RPG

Epic boss music. This type of music makes final bosses much more enjoyable.

And put the Ancient Cave in the equation, and you have the longest and most satisfying side-quest in the history of gaming. I think I spent as much, if not more time in that cave than in the entire game!

This is still the one of the best boss music compositions to date. I'd love an orchestral version of this.

Also I must admit Gades sure does set the tone of how powerful Sinistrals can be. His early game role is well placed.

And the worst part? fucking 1990+ games are still better then lots of triple A games now a days a proper remake of this game was a fail xD since derp? I think if fans made a good remade of this it would sell like hot meat sandwiches

I always hated finishing these games. Cause the magic would be over. If I knew I was near the end I would grind to level up to make the game longer

The only game that I've played over forty times, for a total of over a thousand hours. Seriously, best game ever created. Ever.

I've played both lufia1 and 2.but my lufia 1 catridge got some problem,it can't save. but for me,lufia is the best RPG after Final Fantasy series.till now,I still can remember every moment and battle of this game. Thanx for upload!bring back old memories!

the end is very sad But ,I think so that was the most interesting thing about this game. I never imaginated a final as awesome as this.

this game had a story and character development that I have yet to see in any game since. if games today were as good as this, i would never leave my house

One of the greatest games of all time if not the best! The ending still gets me all choked up!!

I've completed this game at least 8 times back in the day, and it never bored me a bit. Most epic game next to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the N64. Oh and Super Metroid on the SNES is another one of epic proportions.

Guy is such a beast in this game. That killing blow is perfect.

This is why Daos chooses to destroy Dual Blade when Lufia bring it to him.

One of the best RPG i played, i play it every few years again. Righ now i finished a challenge playthrough without buying equipment and farming lvls and ancient cave was quiet challenging and fun =)

the battle music in lufia was JUST the best from ALL Games ever in my opinion =) the first band who play this sound, I will praise like a god :P

Its a prequel to the first Lufia game. You actually saw that final battle at the beginning of the first Lufia game, and the story goes on from there. This one (Lufia 2), they made the story around the heroes who first defeated the Sinistrals. So before what happens in the first Lufia

This game made me cry a bit because it's sad. This game even made me cry a bit at times for other reason. But overall, this game just made me cry because of how fucking epic it was.

Haha the capsule monster almost made it through....just one more turn.

You need eggring for guy with fry sword, dual blade with maxim, blaze sword with selan and rune rapier with artea. With this weapons you make the most dmg. No need to use old shield for guy. Use defense equipment, like reflector shield, for maxim and artea, hairpin for selan. Most of the attacks are dark attacks anyway, so you don´t even need to heal ;)

Truly a fantastic game. It took a little while to get out of the cliche of "complete this arbitrary task to reach the next town," but after those series of mistakes, it was equal to anything else out there.

Played it tooo much when I was younger, on the SNES, so Addicted that I was getting out of my bed lots of times to play it hehehhe..Music is Cool tho a big 10 for the Game.

@frozenflame448 CT pulled some pretty unique things for its time, in both storyline and in mechanics...as did Lufia.

Does anyone know where I can find the music and/or clip of the tower that shows the clouds moving fast underneath?

i happen to love ff but i also agree that lufia is an amazing rpg and that ff can learn ALOT from it but that doesnt mean every final fantasy fan cant recognise a good game just all the ones obsessed with some charecter (98% of us)

Did you liked the block puzzles in Lufia II ? I sure did. I liked them so much that I made a mobile game with the hardest of them and plenty of others.

Lufia I and II are awesome, unlike the crappy rest of the series which went downhill afterwards. I want games today to be as good as they once were back in the day, during the golden age of gaming.

i remember the only one i got stuck on was the arrow of tiles and you needed to use the bomb to flip all of the tiles to the other face
