If this is a fight between side characters, Luffy already died😹 luckily He is the MC while Kaido just side character. I mean He can literally just one shot Luffy with full power at the beginning, not like Luffy who get stronger🙈 That's pretty much why I don't care that much about thr MC battles🗿 Yeah, Dude literally going up against a God, where reality and physics established the entire series just stop being a concern to Luffy plus protected by Author so He cannot lose nor died💀☠️

In other words, Kaido''s power was also based on the author himself. All those are comic and anime stories. Stick to it. Don't make it like the fight is real-life alike. Kaido can execute a one shot on Luffy, but because of author protected the character, cannot lose? how absurd. The same goes for Kaido if he is the main protagonist. Just enjoy the show. It's fun and you know it.

my tears come up when Luffy says " i trust you" then Momo's flashback remembering his mother tell the same things as Luffy says,

I know it is entirely impossible considering it is weekly and how much money each episode would cost, but can you imagine if every episode had this quality? That is the dream.

This was my exact reaction too

You've got to give credit to Kaido too for holding up to a seemingly overpowered devil fruit Luffy has. At this point in the anime, I just don't see anyone that will hold a candle against Luffy anymore. If the strongest creature can't, then no one else can.

To be fair, Kaido had to fight the Red Scabbards and Izou, then Luffy, Law, Kid, Zoro and Killer, then Law and Zoro, then Luffy again, then Yamato, then he was bitten by Momonosuke, then Luffy again, then Gear 5 Luffy. Luffy was defeated three times in this fight alone, while Kaido stood up strong the entire time, while simultaneously lifting and moving Onigashima. Luffy is extremely powerful, definitely, but it took A LOT of collective effort to defeat Kaido.
