Luffy and Zoro's relationship is so amazing. Bros all the way!
They cut one important part of the backstory - you’ll notice Luffy has a scar under his eye when he’s an adult, which comes from him stabbing himself in the face to prove how tough he is to Shanks and that he can be a pirate but the anime doesn’t show it here

@@TheSpecialKExperienceIt shows it in the manga just the anime creators thought it was too violent so they didn’t do it until episode 487 where they only showed that part of his backstory only on that episode

Nami was such a menace in the early episodes - it’s a big reason why to this day I still have trouble deciding between her and everyone’s favorite waifu who appears later in the series.
Fun Fact- They made the kid at 24:09 white in the 4kids version 😂😂
