It was a draw and both needed to recharge (Luffy out of stamina and needed to eat and Kizaru being knocked out temporally) before resuming the fight until they switched opponents (Luffy sending Saturn away while Kizaru attempting to unalive Bonney and Kuma). However, I do agree that Sanji's not going to win against the admiral anyway.

I think it's possible that somehow Blackbeard *is* Xebec. In the same way that Xebec was originally Joyboy's counterpart in the D clan, and probably the person that betrayed Joyboy. I definitely believe theory that Blackbeard's first devil fruit (which we haven't seen yet) is a zoan that allows him to access memories of previous users, including Xebec.

Bonney's age really shows in this chapter and it works perfectly. Her naivete and raw emotion made me cry. It was my favorite part of the chapter. Oda has truly hit home run after home run in Egghead. Maybe I'm just biased, having 2 stepdaughters who have a dead beat "dad" makes the "found family" aspect really hit home. Blood doesn't make family. The bonds you forge and the experiences you share are more powerful than a few red blood cells. Man, i fu**ing love One Piece.
