Diesen großartigen Künstler habe ich vor kurzem entdeckt. Seine Lieder reden mit mir, als ob ich meine Familie vor mir sehe. War sehr lange im Einsatz für die Armee. Von lachenden Kindern bis hin zum Tod alles gesehen. Meine Familie starb am 15.07.2021 bei einem Verkehrsunfall. Schwere Gedanken getragen von Leid, Tränen und unfassbarer Trauer begleiten mich. Ich sehe das Wasser, die Vögel, die Sonne und mein Herz wird warm, warm an die Gedanken an meine Familie. Ein wunderbarer Komponist begleitet mich mit diesem Song. Merci, vielen herzlichen Dank

My dad still alive (I’m just 14) and yesterday we were watching ‘The Untouchables’ thogether. The gong at the end was so emotional and we both cry (just a bite but we did after all), our relationship is not verry closer but after reading your coments, I will asure to spent more time with him and make family activities. This feels like the calm after sobbing. Like silence after losing someone. Like having run out of tears to cry. Not grief, but the compartmentalization of it. The feeling you experience when getting up and leaving a fresh grave. The final word uttered at a funeral. A long drive in silence. Maybe even the construction of an emotional callus. You haven’t found the sun again yet, but the worst of the night is over, you know the sun will be there in the morning.

Wonderful song. We chose it for the funeral of my mother, who lost the battle against stage four cancer after half a year of suffering. She wasn't an Italian, but she always enjoyed Italian culture, food and music. She also used to go to an Italian society to listen to talks about Italian culture and history. I chose this song for my grandmothers funeral. She was a very important person in my live and I miss talking to her. This song allowed me to cry for the first time and when I hear it I think of her and all the beautiful moments we shared.
