Esp in the later seasons, they literally just call themselves sister and brother like "no brother dont kill me" or "sister..we can't do this we are family" "I killed so many sisters and brothers..idk what to do with myself " Like BRO you barely talk when the apocalypse isnt happening..ur literally just soldiers. Idk why you gotta get all sentimental when you're killing eachother even tho you dont care about each other lol. And I know I know, it's a very different show, a bit darker...but still..good characters can exist in both, so idk why spn doesn't have any anymore.

They do the same when they talk about how angels came about. In season 2 their mom says “When you were children” “when you were growing up” and Lucifer says something along those same lines. But in season 4 amenediel says “We angels never grew up. We just appeared fully formed.”

@mesh team 6ix I think he does. There was a scene in the Crisis on infinite worlds, where Constantine came from E-1 to E-666, where Lucifer resided. Since they knew each other(and they even met personally before, when Constantine brought Maze from hell(for that Luci owed a favor to Constantine if i am not wrong)), we can assume, that either Lucifer or Constantine(or most likely both of them) are capable of interdimensional travel(in Lucifer case, not just Heaven or Hell, but other earths as well). Plus, i am not sure how it works in this case, but i think, that in DC, there is only one Heaven for all Earths(and there is only one Lucifer and Michael throughout multiverse, similar to Presence or darkness, which are now combined(ikr?)).

What we expected from the Angel of Death: Cold, calculating, harsh, brutal. Shows no mercy, and gives no shits What we got: Adorable awkward teenager with a displaced older brother and a crush on a human girl

It is theorized the cold personiality that Lucifer describes of Azrael can be one if not both of these: 1) He was angry that she never visited him and/or 2) the coldness was a result of her blade itself.

He was genuinely sad when she left mid conversation. He had so much more to say to her, and I really hope he gets the chance to say it.

God, I love this actress! Its funny to see the Angel of Death be someone so nonthreatening, but it makes sense. I doubt looking scary would be a comfort to a recently deceased, and thats what angels stereotypically do, comfort.

One thing led to another, he threatened the Detective's life and was about to kick-start a chain of events to kill her so I picked your blade up and stabbed him in the heart before he could hit the bloody key on the organ. Didn't really have a choice there. I wasn't going to let him murder Mum or Chloe... especially Chloe. After that I buried it with Uriel's body, but Mum thought it was a brilliant idea to lead humans to his grave and let them find the bloody thing. Humans kept getting murdered, the Blade kept changing hands until I finally retrieved the damn thing. I kept it close after that until Mum realised I'd managed to light it on fire for a moment when I was mightily pissed off at her. She and Amenadiel figured out it was the Flaming Sword, the one that guarded Eden after I took a trip to see Eve and all that came after until it vanished in my rebellion. Turns out our father who art in Heaven broke the Flaming Sword into three pieces; the Blade of Death which he gave to you, the Medallion of Life he chucked down to Earth and the Key he hung around our big bro Amenadiel's neck. So eventually we figured out all the pieces, and when Mum was about to go nuclear I united all the pieces and ignited the Sword once more. Used it to slice open reality and give Mum her own universe, that's where she ended up by the way, then I pulled out the Key and threw the Blade and the Medallion through the rift before it closed. So, sorry little sister, but you're never going to so much as lay eyes on it again. Whoops."

4:15 Man, so much is conveyed here without needing to say anything. And it's heart breaking. Lucifer is and probably always will be Azrael's closest friend and sibling. And with Lucifer gone Azrael is unbelievably lonely. And yet despite all that, Azrael is still loyal to their father. They probably feel they cannot allow themselves to truly reconnect with Lucifer until God finally forgives him. Until then, Lucifer is still "the enemy" and thus not to be fraternized with. Fuck, this series has some good moments.

This is what I really love about the show. It really gives out new perspectives to already established lore. Like you’d expect the angel of death to be cold and stuff but no. In here she is just someone who is just like everyone else just trying to do her job.

in a way this makes sense Azrael didn't want to be the angel of death just like how Lucifer didn't want to be the Angel of Hell so it makes sense that he'd get along with her the most out of all his siblings also it makes sense why Azrael would be this young looking (i know alot of people didn't like her casting but think about it this way) this could be the way Lucifer has always seen her as his little sister whom was very sensitive and vulnerable hence why she always confided in him

Azrael life is probably depressing since she sees souls at there last moment. Plus she probably dont get no vacation or hardly any days off. When she do get days off she probably just relaxing.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lucifer loves and respects his little sister. Azarel's the only sibling who overtly loved him even after the rebellion. She's also implied to be strong as Amenadiel; Lucifer saw her appearance at the war as a good sign

For some reason I love that Lucifer is Azrael's favorite brother.

for some reason i kindaa wanted to see Azrael to join in throughout the series, idk lucifer & “rae-rae”s sibling relationship seems sweet and just plain different from lucifer’s other relationships with other siblings.

I love how it is like, after Azreal explained why she didn't stopped by, Lucifer kinda forgive her, but still put all the big brother face in front of her🤣

I admit, I wasn’t expecting her to look like she did, but I’m happy we got a face for Azrael. Hopefully she will come back for Season 4!

I love that angels are so humanlike. Flawed, evolving, and always meddling when they should not.

We need to renew the series for one more season, just so we can have more of Ray-Ray.

Fox originally ran the show for 3 seasons and it was cancelled after a mishandled third season with low ratings. Netflix picked it back up

Man in season 2, when Lucifer said that Rae Rae was “no sweet peach” I thought she was going to be a cold-hearted b*tch. What I was not expecting was an adorable, awkward, teenager-like lady (despite the fact that the actor is in her early 30’s). I love this show so much.

I love how Lucifer's pride is well depicted here. Same with Azrael who is REALLY busy, curious but very obedient... until they meet certain people.

Azrael: I didn't abandon you! I've been...Busy. Me, an intellectual: This oooool’ Ruby Rideeeeer is Ruby ridin' aloooone

I like the relationship she spoke of that they had. It seemed like he cared alot about her in a guardian kind of way

Because this episode was never meant to air, in fact if you watch it it is disconnected from the others, like the other one. They made a different episode, which has nothing to do with the show's continuity

Imagine "Angel of Death" Azrael herself is looking out for you and hanging out with you. That is so cool my I really liked that ella being so always positive and devoted to get finally gets her something in the form a friend i.e THE ANGEL OF DEATH

They should have had Charlyne Yi on as Azazel much earlier - this post cancellation episode is just cruel and unusual punishment 😡

Haha. Charlyne Yi isnt a "teen" guys. She's 32 years old ;-) And shes playing someone who's ancient. And why so many comments expecting a coldhearted bad ass warrior played by a "sexy" woman? Dont we already have demons like Maze for that? The Angel of death arent meant to be a sedusive murderer, shes an invicible angel that gently helps humans over to the other side. You probably need to be a lil quirky for doing a job like that. And Lucifer describing her as "no sweet peach" well. We havent seen it all yet have we? And now thankfully we can in season 4 =)

Yes but when the choice is between taking them to the afterlife and letting them remain on Earth as ghosts (assuming that's possible in this show, which hasn't been shown yet), it's not much of a choice.

I think Azrael is adorable in this show.

We expect the Angel of Death to be cold, hardened, and calculating. Angel of Death in Lucifer: Smol bean adorable teenage-like character, who likes to babble and is extremely wholesome.

Seing lucifer with other celestials and listening to their fights is so intimate and funny ... it makes me feel like i'm a part of the family too 😅😅😅

Wait a minute. Azrael is the angel of death? Wha- I've always been curious since season 2. Now finished season 5 only to come to this video and figure it out. God I'm an idiot

gotta love how nearly every other Arch-Angel looks up to both Amenadiel and Lucifer (Samael) they are the genuine template for the big brother Ramiel practically worships and heavily respects Amenadiel and Azrael adores Lucifer. kinda makes Uriel to be all the more sad that he was the goddess described that he just wanted to be noticed by them both yet they really didn't give much of a shit about him.

Well, she's an angel made to deliver souls...Pretty sure God doesn't want dead people to sh*t themselves when the Angel of Death delivers em. So this is just fine.

I’m glad they made this character and updated version of the comics

i love how they made azrael this awkward teen character (something charlyne yi excels at) especially since she’s the angel of death

I'm still pissed we only got Azrael for 2 episodes. This one and then only two shows in the war episode.

I hope they bring ray ray back next season! I think Lu needs his fave little sister now

i think they could just have Tom Play Michael as well as Lucifer i mean they are twin's in the comics. but Amenadiel has sort of taken the role of Michael in the series anyway.

Really wished they expanded on her character more.

A lot of people expected Azrael to be cold and calculating and whatnot but you have to think of their experiences. Yes death affects people negatively in a lot of ways but after a while you probably will get used to it, and it's not like she was dealing with just the ones that would go to Hell though she did say they tended to be quite morose but maybe it was a few good people and Ella who turned her attitude around, after all, Ella is quite the bubbly positive character in spite of the things that have happened to her. Maybe I'm wrong but not everyone's going to be the creepy scary death person.
