Wow, man got this video in my feed. Thought that its probably like a 10 year old video. But looking at the recent comments it really warms up my heart that people are still talking about this movie. I saw the entire underworld series when i was a kid. One of the first Hollywood movies i ever watch and then i was hooked on to English cinema even learnt the language because i couldn't find dubbed versions of some movies. The amount of joy these movies used to give me as a kid was very different specially when i started watching these Hollywood movies.Now nothing gives me the same amount of joy.Some movies have a special place in my heart reson being the sheer amount of entertainment they delivered to a kid. Movies like Underworld, Constantine,ven Helsing will always be my favourite tho they were never rated highly.

Guess no one told Viktor the old saying: "Keep your friends closer, but your enemies closer"

I always liked Lucian and absolutely HATED Viktor. Viktor even treated Marcus like crap and Marcus is the one that turned him. I think Viktor's death in the first movie was way too quick.

Actually that was Marcus's fault. He worried over his brother more without paying attention to casulties. Victor was tired chasing and trying Marcus to commute with William. Victor also knew how dangerous it was to keep William unchained. Ultimately Victor sealed William, and Marcus after half of millenia was able to make William not attack him, perhaps because he was starved and weakened to the point his bloodlust and rage was lessened. Victor is presented to the point of being hated, but honestly if not for him, then vampires wouldn't survive another century. Tho, if he did listened to nobleman's proposition about elite lycans and promoting Lucian, instead of hiding behind his ego and insecurities, he would have the world in his grasp easily.

@goblo023 He did seem kinda layed back and chill except when he was given battle orders. What I don't get as well as the obvious point here about him taking on a full blood werewolf spawn of William as a regular Joe but also how Victor completely dominated with zero effort, Raze was almost as old as Lucian and Lucian gave Victor a good fight.

Damn i love this movie so much, prequels tend to fall short,not this one

Sonja was Victor's biological daughter (spoiler alert) after he has his daughter killed he make a prison for William. When an architect made the prison Vicktor had the architect and his family killed except Selene. She looked alot like Sonja, that's why he spared her.

Yes he is the Original Lycan. To distinguish between werewolf and lycan in the Underworld franchise: Werewolves are the spawn if William Corvinus, the twin brother of Marcus Corvinus the Original Vampire. William's lycantropy was so strong he could not revert back to human form. The same with those created by him. They were savage mindless beasts, incapable of ever assuming their human form again except in death. Lycans began with Lucian who was birthed by a werewolf mother but Lucian was born human. Lucian could transform at the full moon and then later return to his human form hence, Viktor used him to sire a new species, Lycans. Werewolves who could return to their human forms
