Lucas literally has 5 movement options or even more

Yeah but they're tricky. Definitely takes time and dedication to get right. Something I love about characters like that. Easy to pick up but difficult to master yet rewarding when you finally do

DocumGaia Sometimes, when Ness and/or Lucas hits a vertical wall while they tried to recover, they bounce off from the wall a bit which caused them to be a little higher than where they activated PK Thunder the first time. After Ness and/or Lucas hit the wall and bounce back, they’re able to activate PK Thunder a second time and launch themselves back up to the stage. In summary, they’re able to hit and bounce off a wall and get a little higher. Hope that helps explain stuff! 👍🏻

Blucas is more tech heavy by a lot, but webb has been seen in more tournaments I think

I think Lucas needs some things addressed. #1: Make down throw combo #2: Make up smash have less startup and more knock back #3: Make up tilt combo #4: Make nair frame 4 #5: Make DJCZ easier to do #6: Make the hitbox on jab bigger

dustbin I’ll except DJCZ but up smash really needs to be fixed. You get punished for punishing and it seems like a powerful move but it doesn’t even kill at 80, and the invincibility isn’t enough to save it

Probably go for Lucas #1: a lot more room to grow #2: more fun #3: feels good to use But it’s not my job to pick for you so pick whoever you want

If you want to enter tournaments offline, stick with Ness because he is considerably better than Lucas. For literally anything else? Lucas ALL the way. He’s a much more interesting character to fight against and to play as, and ness’s gameplay is a little lame against most of the cast. Lucas’s movement options are way cooler and his recovery has a lot more mixups and a longer range. I just wish Lucas was a bit better. I don’t want him to be broken, just a couple of simple things that would make quality of life a lot better, like 1) hitting yourself with pk thunder actually kills and 2) adjust the angle of down throw slightly so that you can always land either an up air or forward air depending on di. But yeah, if you want to be good, main ness. If you want to be cool, main Lucas.

Creytn Crosby Be careful not to activate PK Thunder after you bounce off the wall too early or else you won’t get a good angle to get back to the ledge 😂

Holy fucking shit I WISH I could recover like that last guy But instead I bounce _off of the ledge_ I fuckin hate pk thunder 2, man Also, I forget how absolutely chonky pk freeze is

Fun fact: it’s actually possible to do that PK Fire Reverse jump with a Switch Pro Controller. You actually just have to input directions for the L stick fast enough
