I'm not sure if these guys are allowed to do it, but look up the doubles hauling logs lumber, etc those guys will take a cross member out of the front of the truck so it can come up that way

Mostly they use a slipper clutch. As the rpm increases the clutch starts to enguage.

a lot,but is so upgrades the engine that take a lot of time to get his max power .may be >>1000hp . torque?? i think 5000n.m, These trucks dont run in streets, If it need power quickly, is impossible.

I think it starts at 30k pounds or so, but at the end of the track, effectively over 60k being dragged on the sled pan, which also has drag bars under it. Pretty tough haul.

Literally all over. It docks in Manitowoc WI and depending on weekend you can see pulls 3 days in a row. A lot more tractors than semis but they're out there.

I live about 30 miles from the first semi driven by W.T. Miller. Personal family friend my uncle pulled his semi at the idaville tractor pull and beat the owners distance by 13 feet.
