There are actually two pretty good theories that you could apply to this that I saw floating around 1. Is that instead of seducing her, Luka is manipulating Mizi into losing (the parallels of the lyrics to Clematis and whatnot) via reminding her of her deceased lover (Sua) so that he can win. (Most of the members of ALNST know that they like eo); and 2. He planned for this to happen on purpose (her getting saved). It's apparent that he knows Hyuna and he was very calm about a human rebellion suddenly barging in. Also, to add, Luka is a very calculated person, as referenced by him solving a Rubik's cube at the end of Round 3. It could be said that he tried to save her because Mizi had no chance winning against him, as he's the top competitor, being the winner of the last ALNST season (this is mentioned in Luka's interview in the VIVINOS community tab). Those are just two very nice theories I'd seen floating around in the comments' section of the original video. They're much better explained there so it would be preferred to read them rather than go off of the small amount I wanted to drop just to share something cool. Besides that, cool video! I never knew about the nuggets in the community tab 👀 the entire channel/production staff likes throwing in cool easter eggs about the series here and there. As for the theories, the 2nd one seems more plausible to me largely because Alien Stage has no problem showing death and violence, and yet, when the guard had the gun to Mizi and pulled the trigger, we saw nothing. I assume she's still alive and that this move was calculated, if not to incite and save her because shes their hope in inciting a successful rebellion, then to motivate Till to action.

While listening to Luka's cover of Sweet Dream it occured to me that, while he's definitely manipulating Mitzi here... that might not be a bad thing, or for cruel reasons. First off, the whole idea of him trying to make Mitzi snap for an "easy win" is inherently flawed. Luka is popular. He already has fans, and probably had this win in the bag before he even stepped on stage. Secondly- As Till proved, attacking, or even killing your opponent doesn't disqualify you. Hyun-A backed out at the last minute, so it's not like contestants can't be replaced. So getting Mitzi to attack him doesn't accomplish anything if his goal is just "to win." So... if that isn't his goal, what is? Why taunt her, why provoke her? Simple. Fight or flight. This song is barely a duet. Luka's singing just about every part, and it's not because he's overriding Mitzi, he's clearly trying to involve her, make her part of the show, but she's barely interacting. Watch her expressions in the first minute. She's dead-eyed, on auto-pilot, only showing any emotion when imagining Sua, and lashes out at Luka whenever he snaps her out of it. Mitzi isn't trying to win. Mitzi is trying to be with Sua. Mitzi is trying to die. Luka's entire goal... is to piss her off and make her want to live. To fight back. He's not smiling because he made her snap- he's smiling because when the guards showed up, she fought back. She struggled, she screamed, she through dignity to the wind and tried to escape. And the moment she does, Hyun-A appears and provides that escape, exchanging a look with Luka before disappearing into the smoke. Luka's a previous winner. One shown to be fairly uncaring of his fame or status. I think the only reason he'd come back and risk his life again is either to go out in a blaze of glory, or to take down the show from the inside. Possibly both.

For round 4, there may be some reasons 1. In this round, we can see how intimidating and manipulative Luka is, and I think it’s more interesting to see him to do that to Mizi than his other opponent from the last round. 2. In some Asian counties, 4 is unlucky number because it pronounced death or unlucky, and since this is death tournament, I think I can see why they skip it.

The 4 = death thing has its origins in Japanese, but it's coincidental from what I know. 死ぬ = shinu = to die, ４is sometimes pronounced shi instead of "yon" :> As for skipping round 4, I largely agree, it COULD have been shown, but Luca wasn't in need of a backstory, at least not for how the writers see to progressing the story, so showing Round 4 is kinda pointless. We knew he'd win anyways :p

Everyone talking about Luka rizzing up every chick but am I the only one who thinks he is super zesty ?

Okay okay so my interpretation is that Luka is trying to manipulate Mizi, he knows that if he starts reminding her of Sua etc he’ll make her mad, and that would disqualify her. His plan works, HOWEVER Hyuna then saves Mizi. I feel like finale might somehow turn out to be Till vs Mizi cause I dont doubt Ivan will just let Till win. I just hope ship sails :’)

I think at the end of the song when he is really loud is because when mizu started to punch him they where off beat in the song but he still needed to finish the last part of the song

Imagine the blue on Lucas fingers are scars from frostbite. That might be the reason why theres some imagery with water. If he fell into freezing water when he was younger that might be why his head is messed up too.

In some others and my theory was that Luka, He was trying to save Mizi probably so she could live on. So thats why i think He was trying to manipulate Mizi. She did flip and Luka was proud of himself [14:49] Which means he knew that Hyuna would have a chance to save her and Hyuna did. Btw its just a theory so feel free to disagree. ☆☆☆

Yeah this one is blowing up lol. Last Alien Stage round didn't start getting traction until recently. I guess ppl love Luca...or heard about more Mizi 😂😂

Yeah, I'm aware lol. I kept saying "japanese" in reference to the musical influences because it sounded like a remastered 80s J-pop song. I stopped myself from saying this in the future to avoid the confusion :p
