DW4 Lu Bu for me all day. His voice actor has so much power and rage, I will always get shivers when I hear Lu Bu charging out from Hu Lao gate. Me and my brother had nightmares trying to best him. DW4 Lu Bu was easily one of the most overpowered and deadly officers in the whole franchise!

Lu bu from dynasty warriors 8 was the first one I was introduced to, and is the only instalment of the series that I have, but after watching this, lu bu from number 6 and 7 have to be my favourite

Lu Bu in 6 was so good, his story was just awesome to watch! I heard Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme Legends is also a good story I just havent played it yet

@@TheNightowlGaming I would recommend it purely from the the pure unfiltered power trip, mad all the better by npc dialogue that has them freaking out when you do something crazy as lu bu . Examples are: smashing through a castle’s walls with nothing but your halberd, going into rage mode and getting a k.O. Meter of 800 in a single usage. It is just a power trip, but the story for that area of the game is good as I rather enjoyed seeing the characters be just that bit more ‘fleshed out’ compared to other titles in the series (excluding number 6, as dw6 lu bu is best lu bu).

While DW8XL did so much justice for Lu Bu, DW5 Lu Bu is still the most memorable and intimidating for me. I will never forget his best quote 8:37 "By opposing me, they are marching into their own slaughter!!"

Really good seeing all these, Lu bu encapsulated my childhood with the Dw series! the hypothetical route in dw8 xtreme legends is my personal favorite story for lu bu.

The amount of characters, playable stories and heavy rock music in DW4 made it the best. No other version compared

I like how you took not just Lu Bu but Diao Chan's cutscenes as well to form a cohesive story for DW6. 25:34 Dong Zhuo and Yuan Shao in the background: Yuan Shao: Wait, so you're telling me that you and Zhang Jiao came back to life via lightning storm?! Dong Zhuo: Just.... Don't get worked up on the details.... All I desire now is Lu Bu's head!

I have to say my Lu Bu is DW4 Lu Bu. It was the game I first discovered the Warriors franchise. The raw power and unmatched animosity that the game brought to him was unparalleled. From his grapple to his third charge attack to his sixth charge attack. Then there is the line striking fear into you before giving you the fight of your life. Who else seeks death! By the way SW1 Keiji Maeda for the win!

@@evilshadowshadow1249 facts, i remember the final stage where you faced Shu, Wu, Wei, other forces from other lords plus Dong Zhou and Zhang Jiao came back from the deas to face Lu Bu and Lu Bu defeats them at Hu Lao Gate. Man, that is such a cool moment

Dude I love Crispin Freeman's voice I heard it right when DW5 Guan Yu spoke the first time in this video. Dang I got a knack for these things. The best part of this video is that it is not watermarked. You truly are a Dynasty Warriors fan. I used to have a YT channel with 1080P 60FPS cutscenes, but it got terminated in 2017 for unknown reasons. So personally it makes me happy to see you doing this kind of work. DW6 may not be the best game among them..but the cutscene of lu bu enter the battle is the most badass and epic he ever was..and the design of his armor and bomerang weapon is simply the coolest looking black armor..one of my favorite design beside zhao yun silver knight armor in dw6

THANK YOU DW6 definitely had its flaws but the story and the cutscenes (albeit pretty much all of them were fictitious and not historically accurate) was so much fun to watch!

Agreed, I'd say the graphics and the lighting were much better, especially the empires card such as duel or basically a skill points was fun.

DW 6 is like the best ending for Lu Bu where he solo all and enjoys Diao Chan. The first time I saw his weapons changed.

You missed out the zhang liao and Lu bu Interaction for DW3

the voice actors in dw9 sound more like they are all dynasty warriors out like they didn't have fun working on that game like they did the in the other's

Well from one of them I heard was under a lot of uncertainty about what they were even doing and they werent even allowed to do any research on the characters before hand, they didnt know they were recording for DW until like hours before they were shooting and had no time to prepare, that's why it's so bad, cant blame the VAs for that its KT fault for pushing it out when it wasnt ready

Only reasons I have for hating 6 were the lack of Unique movesets and Lu Bu not having his Halberd.

6:24 play at 0.25 speed and you can see Liu Bei coming out of nowhere 😂

Dynasty 9 lubu just became the biggest let down.

Dynasty Warriors usually follow the event in the novel Romance of The Three Kingdom, which tells that Lu Bu met his demise in the battle of Xia Pi Castle where the alliance of Cao Cao (blue army) and Liu Bei (green army) claimed victory by besieging the castle, dumping river to flood it, and completely cutting Lu Bu army's supply thus lowering his army's morale. Meanwhile unable to overcome the siege and had nowhere to run and seek ally due to heavy siege and constant ambush, Lu Bu just spent times in drinking. This incompetency lead some of his officers to defect and had Lu Bu brought to Cao Cao in tied while he was unconscious in hangover. Thus the remaining army and their families surrendered to Cao Cao. In the novel, while having audience with Cao Cao, Lu Bu swore his loyalty to serve under him and Cao Cao seemed to be interested at first. But Liu Bei denied this by reminding Cao Cao the fate of Ding Yuan and Dong Zhuo (both were Lu Bu's foster father, he swore loyalty to them but ended up murdering the two). Further reflecting the matter, he was convinced and had his general to behead Lu Bu and all general by his side (a notable exception being Zhang Liao that Cao Cao esteemed, even Guan Yu plead to Cao Cao not to execute him).

Him and daochan have at least kissed once or have a moment together

If u talk about his weapon in 6..yeah,maybe not many like it..well,i do like it cause it made him something fresh for dw6 entry..but he is the best in dw6 because of his story is so well written and very good..his entry is badass among all dw games plus his design with all black satanic armor like is too damn menacing and brutal,perfect for his personality and bruteness..
