I used to listen to pirate radio in my bedroom as a 13 year old. Loved this music from the first time I ever heard it. In 1993 I started going out, and it changed me forever. I was 17, in the middle of a scene that in lots of ways was only just beginning. We didn't realise how lucky we were with the creativity and quality of music, but we knew how to have a bloody good time ;) Fast forward to now (15 years 'off' for marriage, kids, career etc) - I still go out now and again. Randomly met Bukem at Fabric a few months back, at 3am in the loo..! He was SO lovely and humble, when I thanked him for everything he'd done he just said, "No thank you and everyone who keeps this music alive." Then played for 2 hours instead of 1 - tore the roof off. GEEZER :)

Fucking dude......top stuff....pretty much my story without the Bukem hook up, although was a reg at Fabrics in the early 2000's - 2010. LTJ and Ratty all the fucking way!! Great stuff

This was the first 6pack cassettes I received after sending away to the ad in back of Mixmag…took fukn ages to get to Australia…still remember hearing Atlantis the first time ever with my head between my speakers n choppn on a cali white. Thanks Conrad you fukn legend. Master ceremonies shld learn from u brov…one love yeh RIP 🤜🏼🤛🏿

Same here.if snowballs were anyones first pill then the were ready for anything.started to beleive sitting on the floor monged was the norm.😊

Bletchley Station and about 100 come down kids waking up the sleepy garage staff at the 24hour on way to the station. Still get mini flashbacks hearing some of this well loved tape back in the day. Thanks for the upload.
