I was at this event and to be fair I can't remember most of it 🤔

I don't hear jungle D&B made like this anymore. Early to mid to near late 90's definitely the golden age of all D&B related music.

Sorry to put this on you mate but it's not jungle. It's simply hardcore. This is the year where drum and bass started to take off

@@dreadgaming104 Agreed. Although from what I hear. It wasn't really coined Drum N Bass until around 1996. It was all Hardcore until round 1994 when Hardcore and Jungle split apart. Then it was Jungle then turned simpler around 1996 with DnB when they started to drop the busy drums for the simple rhythm of the breakbeats. Also here it was due in part to Jungle bringing in the wrong types of people, and that Jungle was actually barred from many venues due to it (crack cocaine and alla dat). This is all hearsay ofc though as I was not around for it.

@@SprayNetiKz this was jungle and a couple of the tracks were the early drum n bass records. In 1991 you had Jungle Tekno, then by 93 jungle and by 94 drum n bass. And those terms were definitely used then.

... I don’t give a shiny wet shit whether it’s jungle / drum and bass or whatever. I can’t tell one from the other and don’t care to know (and I have most of these tunes). There is some great still stuff being made. Trust me. And I’m not on about liquid or whatever.

Splendid stuff once again. Thanks for putting all these classic sets online. True vinyl mixing skills - respect to all the DJs and music producers who made these nights unforgettable.

Dan Surlis ... It's by "Peshay", track is called "Gangster" it's on "The Protoge EP" which was released on "Reinforced Records". Hope that helps mate

... with the exception of the tune at 12:30 that is, which is by Hoppa & Bay B Kane, track three off the Pro One ep (sorry, no name as this was not given a title and as far as I know was only released on white label (pink in some cases)). I’ll get round to listing the tracks for you. It’d be a lot easier if I could comment while skipping through the clip, nonetheless I’ll get round to it. Btw, the track that follows Pro One is not on Bukem 10 or 11 either. It’s by Studio Pressure (aka Photek) and called Jump. At least I think so. Again, my copy is blank. May as well put the next track as it’s up. Peshay - Gangster (also not on 10 / 11).
