Honestly, I would say Micah truly, and even he would be considered more newer old school. As cool as Gary and Georjah are, they really came in on the tail end. The addition of Blake is awesome, but Hoonigan as a whole has really evolved into something different. I first discovered Hoonigan from their drifting antics, its basically come full circle doing hardcore offroading stuff. Maybe the new show runners will tap back into those roots.

Even the rest of the crew is cool. Micah is a beast when they get back to drifting, Georjah kinda needs to feed off others excitement to get rowdy... but she will, (maybe that's just some camera shyness). Darren is ok, he doesn't come off as the type to let loose, but he's a good presenter and was given the job for a reason... I'd like to see if he gets more comfortable or whatever before I pass a final judgment. All in all change is hard, but as with all things we will probably get to the point where this new crew moves on and we are all sour about the new kids not being as entertaining as these guys.

I think that's basically a rolling billboard for his company, so it's a business expense. I mean, if I was out in Glamis with my sxs and that thing flew past me like I was sitting still, you'd bet I'd be talking to the guy once I finally caught up. If I happened to have Porsche 911 GT3 RS, (+ dealer markup), money, it wouldn't be much to sell me on one of these instead.

Yeah that really caught me too. Maybe that goes to show how expensive it is to race? I have no idea, but if he charges 350 grand and still sells trucks he’s making some money and if that’s not enough then racing must be incredibly expensive.

@@bando404 Y'all really didn't hear him/realize that doing a full race season is in the millions? There's a HUGE difference between owning one or two low-mid 6 figure vehicles and paying for a full race campaign out of pocket, even with a sponsor or two. He was not joking when he said it costs $3-4mil.

That ranger is so dialed in, it is beautiful. I am a toyota guy, but that ranger is dope AF.

These races are closer and the trucks seem to actually fully work. Unlike everything on that series “yea it makes 1000hp, we just slapped it together last night and brought it here. Today we’re running only 10psi so probably around 500hp. I’ll miss some gears, it will break up under boost, but yeah totally stoked I came out and I’ll be back!” 👍🏼

They've been alternating seasons(for the most part, there's been some overlap), so, presumably, we'll roll into another season of OG TvT after the end of the off-road races that they already have filmed.

Both of those rigs are so damn cool!!! Great race too, if the Ranger had your typical small block in it instead of that rowdy ass built big block, it definitely would've been closer lol. I do hope we get a top 4400 car out there against a prerunner like this or maybe a TT or Class 1. Ultra4 4400 vs Class 1 would be a pretty cool matchup actually, there's been a few times where the rock donkey 4400s have been running door to door with Class 1s in the desert, seeing them do the "mini-desert drag race" would be awesome.
