I DID THAT! 😹 Just didn’t make a video for it. I used the orange oem replacement instead of LED’s since I like the touch of orange, call me weird hahaha

Tomorrow I will swap breaks from st205 🥳lightest in weight, but as powerful as on supra 👌

Do you recommend doing it to the rear tires as well and if so do I use the exact same rotors, pads and calipers as the front or do I have to get different sizes for the back

Hey do you still have the oem ls400 threaded inserts for the calipers? I know you have to change them to the offset ones for the is300z

I found this perfect blue stock is with low miles for a great price and right before I had enough money to get it the dealer sold it to sum other person... I was like bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Bro I was gonna get one on coilovers already with wheels and only 60000 miles on it but I couldn't afford to pay it all at once. I had to go with a 1 owner 138000 miles one. Which was still nice because it was one owner and he only drove it 8k miles a year and clean title +++++ it's a Lexus is300 with a NA-2jz. Very much still in good health 😂

Where do I get those rims???

Do any brake pads work with the ls400 BBK or do you need specifically ls400 brake pads?

Very interesting video. But you clearly wasn’t paying attention to what you where doing. What I mean is “you had the lines off before the new calipers was installed” I wouldn’t recommend you to anyone. But overall good video. PS I did this swap last year!

When is the manual swap happening?

Planning on it later once the Corona virus stuff settles. So far I have the W55 transmission, OEM NA Supra clutch/flywheel, Stainless steel clutch line, and a couple small things. Slowly grabbing all the parts I need!

No, Im pretty sure you’ll need a pair of spacers if you’ll be using the stock wheels!

Did you lose the functionality of your e-shift buttons and get a light on the dash when you installed your steering wheel? I want to install a Nardi in my gs300 but I don’t want to lose the shift buttons and I hate lights on the dash.

I did lose the shift button and I took out the airbag light bulb on my dash since I was planned on putting a bucket seat too. The manual mode isn’t that big of a deal for me since i’m buying parts to manual swap already and just enjoy the auto for now!

Hii I hope someone can help me with a question that I have. I’m slowly starting to work on cars and I need help to where to jack up my is300. I read the owner manual and forums. Someone people say that you shouldn’t jack up at the diff and some say you should. Also how would you jack up the front end of the car? What other best place to jack up the car?

Hien Nguyen Hey! I always do it on the pinch welds! You can do it by the diff technically but I much rather have it on the jacking points on the welds! MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS USE JACK STANDS!

Hien Nguyen you can jack up in various appropriate places but keep the jack stands near the pinch welds. If you don’t want to destroy your pinch welds get some adaptors, Figs makes some good ones for the IS300 though they’re pricey (20 for one corner). Trust me if you work on your car a lot your pinch welds will deteriorate considering how these cars are getting old now.

So before you decide to brake this hard again, just know, you warp the discs every time you brake hard, and that’ll cause a bunch of problems later on if you leave them like that 😬😬
