Josh, you and your pit crew just never cease to amaze me.

I loved Squeeze's commercial, Marge's shoes, Ralphie's dimes, and Wawa's comedy. And Josh, as always, is the man with the plan. Awesome episode!

Hey guys, I have to tell you that for some reason my ptsd kicked in around noontime. I thought I needed a nap but decided to see who was on my u tube. Voila I see Sleeperdude was on, saw all the kids smiling faces and BOMB I was back on track. You guys are my second family. Yep I’m old, most of my and my wife’s relatives are all gone. I have a similiar story and situation, and I sincerly know what you mean--yep, same stuff here. Josh, Marge, Wa, Ralphie, Squeezie, Maple the pig, Rocky, Murphy, George Jones, and al the other animals I can't name are MY second family, too. PTSD sucks. But, for me, watching and experiencing Sleeperdude and family, as you put it, BOMB--I'm back on track!

I was a mailman and drove those trucks to deliver the mail back in the 70's. I could have deliver the mail a lot quicker with that LS. Those door windows was the only way to get some cool air thru the cab. We use to keep the doors open on very hot days. I too look forward to seeing your family at work together. You and Marge must be very proud of your kids. Come on!!!!!! people give those thumbs up!!!!

Ralph’s will have a great welding job through high school. He can weld anything for me better than anything I could do. Good job young man.

The glass guy is very skilled. Cool to watch him.

Man your neighbor buddy always cheers me up. Reminds me of an older neighbor I had years ago that always came over when I was tinkering around in the garage. He was always quick to give advice and lend such an infectious much needed support. So glad he pops in and out every great once in a while.

Good to see the tiny hand back.

You can't fake it y'all have hearts of gold I can tell you wouldn't try to fake it it's not in your DNA. Finally made it to the end . Simple fix!! Get some axles that are within spec. I'm still very impressed with your skills Josh!!

This is the first time I saw someone on KZread cut and weld their own driveshaft. I had an old boss show me how to do that years ago and to this day I have never had any problems with a driveshaft I cut myself. Great job.

Don't forget you also lowered the Metro Mite. I love how WaWa gives her Daddy-O compliments. The brown seats and the "turquoise"/aqua seatbelts look great together and matches the patina and blue on the outside, too. Don't forget wipers and fluid for those pretty new windows! Oh, man! So close! That's okay, it'll make for another great video when you get back to working on it. Thanks for this!

for the grill i think you and Ralphie should fab your own just use like 1/4 flat bar by like 1" horizontally with like 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap in between welded to round or squire stock it the back for mounting also or drill holes in the flat bar and slide all thread and use bolts as the spacers and for mounting then just paint it black or silver

Having raised 5 kids including 2 daughters I hope you don't mind me respectfully saying your daughters are beautiful young ladies. Raising girls today can be hard and you seem to be doing the right thing by keeping them away from social media. Anyways, thanks for another great video. Can't wait for the next one.

I feel bad your family always ends up with problems but you all remain very optimistic no matter what! Even the trip things were bad but you still kept moving on and did not let it completely ruin the one RV vacation. I have been watching your videos for several months and I enjoy the interaction you all have with one another, you have an awesome family. You should be a role model family for all the messed up dysfunctional families to include mine! It is nice to see your kids grow up with good values, thank you!

Josh, i've said it before I'm sure, but its good that you teach the kids how to build things specifically themselves give them the creative freedom to solve a problem themselves if they can. Nobody ever gave me that kind of direction, and it made things exponentially more difficult when i got older, because despite knowing what i wanted to do and how it worked, I'd have to struggle to figure out the best way to execute a plan, because nobody gave me the opportunity to trial and error stuff when i was young. So they might not see it now, but i bet they will when get they older.

Sorry to see the troubles with the axels. It was good to see the belt measuring tool I sent put to use. Don't need it often, but when you do, it comes in clutch.

Don't let the axle situation get to ya, learning about that kind of details on something that unique is honestly a win, its what working on car's is all about. Y'all are truly amazing and inspiring ❤️

I used to find many Gremlins in wiring. 90% of them were connectors that slid out of their crimps. so I learned over the years to crimp with a little flux on the wire and then solder connection and heat shrink. Never had a failure again.

Mike hit the nail on the head... it sounds wicked! What a cool rig!

Poor squeeze, glad you feel better

I worked for a.junk yard many years ago and we put a BB 390 in a Pinto with a C6 transmission and I built a drive shaft that was 11 inches long , we beat that car to death in the yard for 10 + yrs and it never failed .. miss the good ole days.

That is such a cool van and build. It has been fun watching you guys get her all fixed up. It definitely deserves it. I am super impressed with Squeezy's art skills. I have always been able to draw pretty much anything, but never really could get the hang of painting. Squeezes painting skills are really impressive, and she's just little bitty. Wa seems to have some great art skills there as well. Just all around talented family. Great video guys.

Dude, I know you said you done a lot of work, and I know you're tired. As a fan I want to say thank you, I don't really watch TV nowadays just like only Andy Griffith in the mornings. Just an FYI, they have a scaper blade that attached to a sawsall, iy makes removing tile and flooring a breeze. They have them at Lowes and Home Depot. I love your videos. I love the whole family participation

She’s a mess

I have cut over a hundred driveshafts in my life , only had one that had to be balanced, i used a tubing cutter to get the right length and eyeball and a flat surface to get the yokes perfectly in sync with each other

Look at that assembly line.!!! What a great project. Sry the kids felt bad.

Sleeperdude family worked hard and did a great job. Ralphie truly amazes me for his age. Plus they all have a great Dad and Teacher. Food for thought - narrow your rear end for the axles. Refurbished axles with a file. Maybe used wheel spacers for rims. Your family is Awesome.

awe geez, gotta wait a bit more to get that ride !You all did an amazing job with this project. The motor sounds so healthy and raring to go. Tosh and Wawa are so funny around that press. Ralph is doing just awesome on that TIG welding, make sure you don’t contaminate your Tungsten, try turning the Hertz up to about 175 and increase the Argon flow rate to at least 20 Fp/H.
